Overview of your Fukuoka tour
This tour uses a private van (van fee is NOT included in the tour fee). You'll visit a shrine and a temple, where you will learn the difference between Shinto and Buddihism by a knowleageable guide. Dazaifu tenmangu shrine enshrines a deity of education, Michizane. A lot of people especially students visit the shrine wishing for their academic achievement. Nanzoin temple has the largest bronze reclining Buddhist statue in the world. The statue is located outside surrounded by beautiful nature. The place is also famous as a site of Kyushu pilgrimage places. Tochoji is famous for the largest wooden sitting Buddhist statue.
