Overview of your Fukuoka tour

Yanagawa and Yame city are located about 60km away south of Fukuoka. Yanagawa is famous for river boat riding. A boatman controls the boat without a motor using only an oar that needs tactful skills. The river, once was a moat of the Yanagawa castle, is about 3km long surrounded by trees and seasonal flowers. The boat ride is about 30min. "Ohana", once was a residence of the lord of Yanagawa built in 1910 is located nearby. The town is also best know for "Unagi" or steamed eel flavored with special teriyaki-style sauce and normally served with rice. The avarage cost of Unagi is around 3,000-3,500yen. Yama city is located about 20km away from Yanagawa, and famous for green tea, especially most expensive green tea called Gyokuro. From the top of the hill, you can enjoy an amazing scenery of tea farm. After seeing the farm, it's time to enjoy Macha sweets or buying green tea there.

Please ask the current cost of a van BEFORE booking. If the tour duration exceeds 6.5h, you are charged another 2,570yen/30min. If you use a taxi, the cost is around 25% less
