We take trains to go to Dazaifu and visit the shrine. The shrine is dedicated to a scholar and politician of the Heian period(794～1192). Over 10 million people visit this shrine, it is definitely one of the famous and popular spots in Fukuoka. The pathway to the shrine, there are lots of small shops such as café, clothing, chopsticks and don't forget to eat Umegaemochi a popular sweets from the shrine (sweet bean paste inside rice cake) ! We have Tonkotsu Ramen(pork based soup ramen) in Tenjin area for lunch. We take a bus to go to Fukuoka tower and enjoy the panoramic view of Fukuoka city! *The main hall of Dazaifu shrine is currently under construction until 2026. You can see a beautiful and unique temporary hall instead.
