Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Hitomi. I lived in foreign countries for over 8 years, such as US, Canada, France, Australia, Singapore and Spain. I love traveling like you do. Besides traveling, I enjoy drawing, painting, cycling, cooking and eating delicious food! I was born in Kagoshima, grew up in Miyazaki and now live in Fukuoka(all in Kyushu island!). What I love about Kyushu island is that people are friendly, it's not too crowded and the nature is beautiful. And most importantly the food is delicious! We have fresh fish, seafood, meat and so many kinds of delicious dishes! I got my guide license in 2017 and I've been working as a guide since. I love this job because I get to meet people from all over the world. Learning new languages and getting touch with other cultures inspires me. I find every tour is different and unique, and for me this job is very challenging and fun! My wish is simple that you go home with lots good and fun memories. Please let me be a part of it! I am a national certified guide. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

In this tour you can deepen your understanding of our culture and history of Japan. You will also experience Japanese culture of your choice. Ikebana (Japanese style flower arrangement) would be an interesting lesson to take. You can learn the difference from western style flower arrangement. There's also Hakata doll painting that you can paint on a traditional Hakata doll (pottery), take it home as a souvenir of Fukuoka! After the fun experience we visit one of the most known shrine and see a beautiful huge float which is used for an important festival that is held every summer in Fukuoka city. We visit Machida folk museum to watch a short documentary film of this festival later on. For lunch you can choose from Tempura, Tonkotsu ramen or Yakiniku(BBQ). At the end of the tour, we visit a temple to see a huge statue of Buddha. Important: If you choose flower arrangement, I need to check with a teacher for her availability.
-Meet at Hakata station/your hotel/port/airport -Japanese cultural experience of your choice (flower arrangement, Hakata doll painting or Origami) -We visit Kushida shrine and see a huge beautiful float which is made for an important festival in July. -Have lunch, ramen, tempura or yakiniku(BBQ) -We go to Machida folk museum and watch a documentary film of Yamakasa festival -Visit Tochoji temple and see a huge Buddha. *The order can be changed depends on starting time and starting place of the tour.
