Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Hitomi. I lived in foreign countries for over 8 years, such as US, Canada, France, Australia, Singapore and Spain. I love traveling like you do. Besides traveling, I enjoy drawing, painting, cycling, cooking and eating delicious food! I was born in Kagoshima, grew up in Miyazaki and now live in Fukuoka(all in Kyushu island!). What I love about Kyushu island is that people are friendly, it's not too crowded and the nature is beautiful. And most importantly the food is delicious! We have fresh fish, seafood, meat and so many kinds of delicious dishes! I got my guide license in 2017 and I've been working as a guide since. I love this job because I get to meet people from all over the world. Learning new languages and getting touch with other cultures inspires me. I find every tour is different and unique, and for me this job is very challenging and fun! My wish is simple that you go home with lots good and fun memories. Please let me be a part of it! Overview of your Fukuoka tour
We take an express bus from Fukuoka and visit Takachiho in Miyazaki pref. It takes about 3. 5 hours by bus. We visit Takachiho shrine, Amanoiwato shrine and Amanoyasukawara by taxi, all those places are related to Japanese mythology. We also visit Takachiho gorge to have lunch and Kunimigaoka (observation deck). I will introduce you a part of interesting mythology with my original hand-drawn pictures so you can understand more. Takachiho is surrounded by mountain and is located in a countryside. You will love this beautiful mysterious sacred place. *Express bus fee for you and guide are not included in the tour price. *If you'd like to rent a boat, please let me know in advance so that I can send you a link to book. If you do a boat activity or trolley ride, we skip Kunimigaoka observatory or Takachiho shrine.

-Takachiho shrine, is the head shrine of all 88 shrines in Takachiho -Lunch - let's enjoy local food of your choice. -Amanoiwato shrine - There is the cave where Amaterasu diety hid herself -Amanoyasukawara - is the place where 8 million dieties gethered -Takachiho gorge - Enjoy the spectacular view -Kunimigaoka observatory or boat ride at the gorge - we enjoy the view of Takachiho from the top of a mountain. ★If you'd like to do a boat ride at Takachiho gorge or open top trolley ride, please let me know in advance.
