Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Hitomi. I lived in foreign countries for over 8 years, such as US, Canada, France, Australia, Singapore and Spain. I love traveling like you do. Besides traveling, I enjoy drawing, painting, cycling, cooking and eating delicious food! I was born in Kagoshima, grew up in Miyazaki and now live in Fukuoka(all in Kyushu island!). What I love about Kyushu island is that people are friendly, it's not too crowded and the nature is beautiful. And most importantly the food is delicious! We have fresh fish, seafood, meat and so many kinds of delicious dishes! I got my guide license in 2017 and I've been working as a guide since. I love this job because I get to meet people from all over the world. Learning new languages and getting touch with other cultures inspires me. I find every tour is different and unique, and for me this job is very challenging and fun! My wish is simple that you go home with lots good and fun memories. Please let me be a part of it! Overview of your Fukuoka tour

In this tour, we visit Yame city which is known for high quality of green tea. We first visit Yame traditional crafts center to experience Japanese paper(washi) making. You can make postcards, book marks or business cards. In this center you also get to see the biggest stone lantern, paper lantern and buddhist altar in Japan. Our next visit is Hoshino Tea Museum which is located in the mountainous area where you can experience Temomi-cha (hand roll green tea making). We take a break and have lunch and delicious tea while you enjoy the beautiful nature around. As our last destination we go to an observation deck and see the amazing scenery of tea plantation. *This tour is not available on Mondays and Tuesdays. The order of visiting places changes depends on the reservation for Temochi-cha experience.
