Windsor Castle & Hampton Court Palace with a Blue Badge Guide in an Executive Vehicle

Windsor is the largest and oldest continually occupied castle in the world having been home to the British Royals for almost 1000 years! We will visit the wonderful state rooms and get up close to the art and antiques collected by the Royal Family through out the centuries. The extraordinary Queen Mary's Dolls House is a must see, as is St George's Chapel which is built in Perpendicular Gothic style unique to Britain & is where Queen Elizabeth II is laid to rest along with Henry VIII, Jane Seymour and many other monarchs, the chapel also hosted the marriage of Harry and Meghan. Hampton Court Palace is truly unique in that it is a Tudor Place that was then remodelled by the master builder Sir Christopher Wren in the late 1700's, so in effect we get to see two palaces in one! It was built by Henry VIII's cardinal, Thomas Wolsey, so powerful he was known as the 'other king' and then so luxurious it was taken over by Henry VIII himself.

This tour takes between around 10 hours I will pick you up from your central London location We will then take the one hour drive to Hampton Court Palace We will spend the afternoon in Windsor Castle We will then take a one hour drive back to your central London Hotel or residence.
