Victoria and Albert museum Tour (3hrs)

I typically experience “museum fatigue”, but did not on this tour. Ed did a phenomenal job sharing information at exactly the right pace. It would be easy to feel overwhelmed at the V & A. The guides knowledge about exhibits and the “curated” path through the museum made for an incredible morning. I can’t imagine a better guided tour.

We had a great time on Ed's tour. The V&A is so vast, it becomes a lost opportunity without a skilled interpreter. Ed checked all the boxes: Very knowledgeable Engaging Friendly Aware of our needs (mobility issues, bathroom breaks) Ed knew every part of the museum, had a clear plan for the tour, and kept us clear of the crowds. He did a great job puting what we saw into context, including the historic background for the works we viewed. He made the tour fun. We enjoyed his dry sense of humor. He provided us with details about the history of the museum as well. It was three hours well spent! We would gladly take another tour with Ed.

Tours by local is the only way to see a not familiar city,your time is not wasted by constantly looking at your phone and checking your directions. The guides are friendly,helpful and knowledgeable,they are experts in what you are interested in,they are well vetted and all are pleasant,my family has used them wherever we travel and never regretted it.

Ed was an absolute delight with whom to share an afternoon with at the Victoria and Albert Museum. His knowledge of all of the various areas within the museum (allowing him to provide us with an efficient and fascinatingly varied "Highlights Tour"), combined with his extraordinary knowledge of history (a/k/a "Wikipedia-like") which he shared and explained in an easily digestible manner, resulted in the perfect combination of what a curious tourist wants and needs! Lest I forget to mention, Ed is witty, funny and personable...sharing his many personal travel experiences which added a personal touch to many of the things he explained to and shared with us. What a great morning with Edward at the Victoria & Albert Museum! To say that the collection is overwhelming is a vast understatement, but Edward chose such an interesting, curated selection of items to show us. The tour was both fascinating (because of Edward’s encyclopedic knowledge) and manageable (because of his choices). We loved learning from Edward and look forward to our next tour with him.
