Meet Your London Guide I was born and raised in South East London, where my fascination with the city began at an early age. My father ran a market stall in one of the area’s best-known street markets in Walworth, and from behind that stall I absorbed the rhythm, character, and stories of London life — a city that has never stopped captivating me . My professional background first took me into the property world, where I built a successful career in estate agency and eventually managed my own branch in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for London’s extraordinary architectural variety — from elegant 17th-century buildings to bold modern developments — and, more importantly, an understanding of how history, place, and people are inseparably linked. Over 28 years ago, I took on what is widely regarded as one of the toughest examinations in the world: The Knowledge of London. Set by the Public Carriage Office, this demanding qualification requires mastery of the area within a six-mile radius of Charing Cross — some 113 square miles — covering over 25,000 streets and 50,000 landmarks and places of interest. I completed The Knowledge in the summer of 1999 and proudly became a licensed London black cab driver. Driving a black cab didn’t just mean navigating London — it meant living it. One of my greatest pleasures has always been sharing the city’s history with passengers, listening to their stories, and bringing London to life through conversation and storytelling. It was this natural connection that led me seamlessly into professional guiding. Today, I am a multi-accredited London tour guide, holding qualifications from both The Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers and the City of Westminster, combining authentic cabbie insight with accredited guiding expertise. ⸻ Harry Potter & Ted Lasso – Storytelling Through Screen and Street Alongside my passion for London’s history, I have a genuine love for film and television storytelling — especially Harry Potter and Ted Lasso — and how these worlds are woven into real London locations. My Harry Potter tours go beyond simply visiting filming locations. They explore how London’s architecture, hidden alleyways, historic markets, and riverside settings helped inspire J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world, blending cinematic magic with real historical context. My Ted Lasso Tours of London are delivered with warmth, humour, and heart — very much in the spirit of the show itself. We visit iconic filming locations and neighbourhoods while also exploring why London works so well as a backdrop for the series, sharing behind-the-scenes insights, character moments, and local stories that bring the show vividly to life. These tours are especially popular with families, fans of the series, and anyone who appreciates feel-good storytelling with a London twist. ⸻ A Special Connection to Royal Greenwich Royal Greenwich holds a particularly close place in my heart. Having lived and worked extensively in the borough, I know the area intimately — not just as a guide, but as a local. From the Prime Meridian at the Royal Observatory, to the grandeur of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich tells one of the most important stories in British and global history: time, navigation, and Britain’s maritime power. My Greenwich tours explore these themes in an accessible and engaging way, bringing together royal history, scientific discovery, seafaring heritage, and everyday local life. This is not just a stop on a tour — it’s an area I know deeply, guide confidently, and enjoy sharing with visitors from around the world. ⸻ Your Tour Experience I offer private taxi tours in my latest-generation electric hybrid London taxi, combining comfort, sustainability, and classic London style. The vehicle accommodates up to six passengers, is fully air-conditioned, features a glass panoramic roof, and provides full wheelchair access, ensuring a relaxed and inclusive experience for all guests.

I used to think of Greenwich, as one of London's best kept secrets! Situated on the south east corner of the river Thames, this area has become famous for its royal connections with the Tudors, and especially the Stuart's of which their legacy can still be viewed today. Among the main highlights, we shall be taking in, are some of the most Historic buildings and monuments connected to our Maritime history. See the legendary tea, clipper the Cutty Sark, which has recently undergone restoration, the famous painted hall at the Royal Naval College, and Bridgerton fans will admire the Queens house! Also, on the itinerary will be a visit to see the magnificent view from Greenwich Park next to the old Royal Observatory and planetarium. We'll have a chance to see the old market area of Greenwich and maybe have a spot of lunch at the famous Nelson pub situated right on the river Thames. Part taxi tour part walking tour, I've put together a great itinerary to see the best of what Greenwich has to offer.
Meet and greet at hotel/accommodation/pick up point Transfer to Greenwich via Rotherhithe (stopping at the famous Mayflower pub and discussing the Mayflower story) Visit the resting place( it is said) of Christopher Marlowe and view the magnificent skull and crossbones gates of Saint Nicholas's church where( it is said )the pirate, Henry Morgan walk-through, on his way to terrorise the Spanish Main! (1hour) Then, on foot to explore Saint Alfred's church, the Cutty Sark, the history of Greenwich Palace, and the painted hall, the National Maritime Museum, and the Queens house Stop for lunch at either Greenwich indoor market/traditional English pub/tea under the Cutty Sark Then jump back into the taxi and take a ride up to Greenwich Park for magnificent views over east, London/visit the Royal observatory optional Return back to accommodation/drop-off point Please note that tickets to the Cuttysark, the painted hall and the Royal Observatory are not included within the tour
