Hi, my name is Tom and I am a proud Londoner. I was born and grew up in Camden Town, the product of Irish parents who arrived in the 1950s. I am a family man and have both children and grandchildren. My hobbies include walking and reading, usually about history, and I am interested in all sport but particularly football. I completed the world famous 'Knowledge of London' and qualified as a Professional London Black Cab Driver back in 1999. For me, London is an ongoing love affair and I am constantly seeking to extend my knowledge. I qualified as a London Taxi Tour Guide with the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers in 2018, and I have recently graduated as a Clerkenwell and Islington Tour Guide as well. I consider it a privilege to show you my city which has over 2000 years of history, and I can offer you a tour adapted entirely to your interests. We can take in any or all of the classics but you may prefer to explore a little off the beaten track and see some of the rarely visited but no less interesting places. The perfect way to achieve this is a combination of London taxi and walking; I offer both. And there is no need to feel guilty about riding around in my completely electric, eco-friendly taxi with seating for five guests. Most guests say that my tours are good fun, and I know you will take away some interesting facts, you may even pick up some cockney slang - hope to see you soon! This tour will give you an overview of all the major London sights. You will experience over 2000 years of history, and get a real feeling for this great city. London is full of iconic buildings and interesting monuments, and we can explore its history and traditions, as well as its famous inhabitants. Writing in 1777, Samuel Johnson was not wrong when he stated that 'when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life'. As a Black Cab driver and Taxi Tour Guide I have an in depth knowledge of London, a place I am passionate about. I can organise a tour that takes in the best that London has to offer but I am happy to incorporate your ideas as well. So, if there is something you particularly want to see or do, let me know. I cannot say enough about Thomas. I had an 8 hour layover on a flight back home to see London for the first time. Thomas packed in a great tour. He really hustled so I could see all the top sites and even squeeze in a quick visit to Abby Road. I will come back for a longer and more proper stay and will happily reach out to him to get a more in depth tour. He and his taxi are a great way to see the sites important to you. He knows his stuff, his way around the city and is great company.

Tom was on time and ready to deliver. He asked about our interests and if there was anything special we wanted to see. Armed with this knowledge, we set out on our adventure. His vehicle was very comrfortable and he narrated along the way to the various sites. We walked and talked and he shared all kinds of interesting information about the places we visited and about some places we might want to visit. Tom was funny, easy to talk to, and made you feel like you were with a friend showing you the sights.

Please note that I can accompany you into Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London but I cannot guide in these places as this is restricted to Blue Badge guides.
