London has over 2000 years of history. It has survived disease, fire and war. It has Roman walls, Norman towers, Tudor palaces, Renaissance splendour, Georgian elegance, Victorian grandeur, beautiful green spaces and breathtaking modern structures. London cannot be tamed. All you can do is revel in its richness and enjoy the adventure. My name is Paul and I'm lucky enough to live and work in this fabulous city. I have always appreciated the history and culture and there is nothing more I love than sharing it with people from all over the world. I am a licensed London Taxi driver having completed the famous 'Knowledge of London' in 2010. Since then I have become a qualified Taxi tour guide. Not only do my guests get to see and learn about the rich history of the main sites, we will also go off the beaten track and discover some of the lesser known parts of the city. Travelling in an iconic London Taxi is the best and most elegant way of meandering through the ancient streets of London. It allows us to use your time wisely. We can use the bus lanes to avoid traffic jams and park up and explore the sites in more detail. My fully air conditioned Taxi also has USB charging points so don't forget your charging cables. Whether you are interested in The Romans, The Royals or The Beatles, my passion and knowledge will provide you with a fun, informative and engaging tour. Completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ 2010 to become a licensed London Taxi Driver. Became a qualified Taxi tour guide (accredited by the City University) 2016. Member of Historic Royal Palaces. Member of London Historians. I am not a Blue Badge Guide which means that although I can accompany you inside the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, I cannot guide inside these historical monuments.

When most people think of The Beatles, Liverpool is the city that springs to mind, and for good reason too. They were all born there, grew up, met each other and in the later years, places in Liverpool gave them the inspiration for songs such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. So why is there a Beatles in London Tour I here you ask? Once they had been discovered by Brian Epstein his next job was to secure them a recording contract. London was where all the record companies had their offices. The audition with Decca resulted in a "sorry boys, we think guitar music is not going to take off, we are going to concentrate on solo acts. " This knock back resulted in a chance meeting between Brian Epstein and George Martin and the rest is history!
At every stop on this tour, we will exit the vehicle and you will receive a stand up presentation and have the opportunity to take photos. * 34 Montagu Square. (The setting for the last ever live performance, on the roof!) * Mason's Yard. (Home to the former Indica Art Gallery where John met Yoko for the first time) * The Bag 'O' Nails.
