Hello, and welcome to London! I'm Don, a London Blue Badge Guide since 2016, a graduate of Oxford university and the former Director of the London Society. Let me take you round this incredible city - from the sites that every visitor must see, to the places that even most Londoners don't know about. Whether your stay is for half a day or for a week or more, I can help you experience the very best of London at a pace that suits you. Discover the history of the capital and its hidden by-ways, experience the world's greatest museums and galleries, visit Royal palaces and 1, 000 year old fortresses, see the Changing of the Guard, walk the streets down which Shakespeare, Dickens, Pepys and Churchill (not to mention the Beatles, David Bowie and the Rolling Stones) once strolled, go to some of the most famous shopping streets and establishments in the world. There is so much to see and do, and I can help you get the most from your visit. Official London Blue Badge Guide Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

In the 1960s and '70s, London was the world capital of popular music. This two hour walk will show you where the Beatles held their final live gig (as well as the venue of their first ever London performance), the pub where the Rolling Stones were formed in 1962, and where Bowie was photographed for the cover of the Ziggy Stardust album. Going from Regent Studios to Regent Street, we'll visit the bars, clubs and studios where musical history was made, the venues that hosted the Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, the Pistols, the Clash and others, meet the characters who transformed teenage rebellion into big business, and hear stories of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. For any fan of 'classic rock' or the British bands of the 1960s and 1970s, this will be a fun and interesting stroll through one of London's most exciting districts.
- London's 'Tin Pan Alley', where the Rolling Stones recorded their first album - Where Eric Clapton bought his first guitar - The site of the Sex Pistols' first gig - The studios where the Beatles, T Rex, Lou Reed, Elton John, Queen and others cut their most famous discs - The pub where the Stones rehearsed - Hear about the coffee bar culture of the 50s and 60s - and see the last survival. - The Marquee - where every band who was anyone (and lots who never made it) shook the walls - NME's old offices, from where punk and new wave were chronicled - The club where Paul met Linda - and where Long John Baldry persuaded Elton John not to get married - Heddon Street, where Ziggy Stardust was photographed - The site of the Beatles' famous rooftop concert After the walk we can hop on the tube up to Abbey Road to leave graffiti on the studio wall (we're allowed!) and go across THAT zebra crossing.
