Rock n Roll may have started in the USA but it was in London that it was shaped into the sounds we know today. Journey with me through Soho, the West End and the locations made famous in the swinging sixties that my parents knew. I was brought up around the music industry and remember many of the sites in the 80's along with the musicians that made this area famous. We will see where Led Zeppelin was formed, where the Rolling Stones held their first audition, the famous Abbey Road crossing and the haunts of the world's greatest music artists. Some of whom still frequent the area today. We will see where some of the worlds most well known tracks were recorded and learn about some of the lesser known facts that shaped London's music history. From Jimi Hendrix, Bowie, The Beatles, Clapton & The Who. Retrace the footsteps of the iconic landmarks that made rock music history in London. This tour is great in the evening when soho starts to come alive. We can finish at a rock and blues Club.
Places visited. All can be done walking and are close to each other. There are more locations we can visit on the tour. The location of Jimi Hendrix's first appearance on a London stage Where John Lennon met Yoko Ono Where the Beatles played their final gig Where Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones were founded The Marquee Club Saville Row The Bag o' Nails Trident Studios, Carnaby Street and the swinging 60's Heddon Street The first Hard Rock Cafe in the World and their collection of instruments housed in a vault Abbey Road Recording Studio upon request (15 minutes on public transport) If you have a preference for a musician or type of music I can cater the tour accordingly, from Queen to Led Zepplin

Most of the sites are within easy walking distance. Public transport or a private taxi will be required to get to Abbey Road if required by the customer.
Airport: ,Cruise: ,ByGuide: I would suggest a meeting point near the Swiss Clock and the M&M shop in Leicester Square as the tour will be around Soho and Central London.
