Hello and welcome to London. I have been guiding in the UK, London and Europe for 10 years and I love my job. Whether you just want a quick introduction to London or would like to see the main sights in a short space of time this tour is for you. I have spent my life in London, I have learnt my trade from 8 years of walking Londons backstreets and finding the quirky, bold and interesting features hidden from normal view. I love my city and bringing it to life, by giving you more than just photos to take home but some of the best memories to accompany them . This tour is designed to hit the big 5 locations. The Tower of London, St Pauls, Westminster Abbey, The Houses of parliament and Buckingham Palace, with enough time to visit a couple more off the beaten path locations. In our private vehicle we will have the luxury of time as you can watch the world go by and stop where we please for a photo, a coffee or a snack. We will not enter any of the buildings as each visit can take up to 2 hours but this tour acts as a great taster for places you would like to return to to spend more time.
Nicholas is a knowledgeable as they come about the city of London! The transportation was smooth and we saw all the major sites and still had time to end with a pint! Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see London in half a day!
If there were 10 stars, Nicholas Player would receive them. His knowledge and overall historical perspective of London is without equal. I am a woman of color and I didn't think London had anything for Black people. Then Nicholas showed me the figure of Martin Luther King, Jr. on the Westminster Abbey's Great West Door as one of its Modern Martyrs. I was truly blown away and very impressed at his ability to just know EVERYTHING!!! It truly was a tour of a lifetime and I am SO fortunate to have selected Nicholas as my guide in London. It IS the QUINTESSENTIAL TOUR!! I don't know about other guides, but Nicholas is sui generis and whoever is reading this feedback, don't look any further. Just book him. You'll thank me later.
Nic was fantastic. He is an incredibly charismatic, funny, intelligent, and charming guide. He showed us all the major highlights plus a few lesser known attractions that he thought we might like based on our conversation during the tour. We saw everything from Big Ben & Parliament to street art and interesting architectural details we would have missed without his instruction. We even saw King Charles drive right past us as he left Buckingham Palace on his way home for lunch!!! I’m told this was quite lucky so don’t expect to see the same if you take a tour with Nic. But, his knowledge of London and its history was absolutely impressive and likely the reason we did in fact get a glimpse of the King. We would love to take another tour with him if we get the chance and would recommend his tour to anyone.
Nicholas was amazing! We saw so many bucket list places/attractions. He was super knowledgeable and added a ton of historical and local information. I would definitely use him again. Book with confidence!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Nicholas. He was very knowledgeable about the history of London / England and we enjoyed the areas that he took us to see. The taxi cab was a great way to get around the city and very clean! What a wonderful morning - a highlight of our trip!
9am: We start the tour from a location of your choice in London. Drive to Westminster for a short walk around the exteriors of Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Londons Georgian Streets followed by a walk through the Deans Yard. 10am: We head to Whitehall past No 10 towards Trafalgar Square stopping off at the Horseguards for a quick photo of the soldiers before the big drive down the Mall to Buckingham Palace for an iconic photo of the Queens residence. 11am: Drive to the City of London and St Pauls via Piccadilly Circus for a stroll around the exterior of the Cathedral and take a lift to a viewing platform for one of Londons best photos. 12pm: Its off to the Tower of London via The Cities oldest building, the Guildhall to a visit the Roman amphitheatre that once stood there. We also have the option to visit one of Londons oldest churches on request. 1pm: The Tower of London via Tower Bridge in time for lunch.
