I was born in the North of England but spent part of my childhood living in India and the Middle East. I moved to London for a year to study on a postgraduate course and never left - working, bringing up my children and developing my career in guiding here. Apart from a few years living in Japan and Singapore London has been my home for 30 years. I believe there is something for everyone here, 2000 years of history rubbing shoulders in a contemporary city with modern architecture, fashion and art. Whatever you are interested in, whether it is castles, palaces, traditions, galleries, museums or modern culture I can tailor a tour for you. My bespoke tours include walking tours, tours by public transport ( bus, tube, boat or train), or I can organize a car with a driver or a minibus. Within London we can cover the major sites--Westminster Abbey, Royal London, Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard, Churchill War Rooms, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London or explore less well-known districts like Bermondsey, Shoreditch or Spitalfields. Out of London Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Dover, Leeds Castle, Hever Castle are a few of the many wonderful places that can be easily reached in a day trip.
