Hi, my name is Tim, your London Insider and top rated Black Taxi-Tour Storyteller, welcome to my City! I'm a true Londoner, born in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (although admittedly that's as far as my 'royal' connection goes!). I am of Irish heritage - my parents came to London from the charming town of Killarney, County Kerry in the 1950's, whilst other relatives pursued their dreams and immigrated to Boston, USA. My parents ran traditional pubs in London's heart for 40 years and so, naturally, at the age of 23 my wife and I ran our own pub in the famous tourist spot, Camden Lock market. For the past 23 years I have been a licensed London Black Taxi Driver, having passed the esteemed Knowledge of London in 1997. To me, there is no better way to see the sights of London than in the iconic Black Taxi - the only vehicle built especially to navigate London's historic streets, with its 25 ft turning circle and exclusive use of bus lanes, we can easily and comfortably access all the excitement the City has to offer. My passion for history lead me to gain qualification through the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers in 2016 (accredited by City University, London) and I have been focused on providing, fun, engaging and informative tours ever since! What makes my tours special? • No crowded buses — just your group, comfy ride, and me behind the wheel. • Quick access to photo spots and safe walking breaks. • Stories that bring London’s 2,000-year history to life. My main emphasis on every tour is to create fun and lasting memories for my guests. I cover all iconic sights, including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Tower of London, The London Eye, The Shard and a number of hidden gems for an element of surprise - your itinerary will be fully tailored to make sure you make the most of your trip to England's Capital. My most popular tours include Historic London, Gruesome London, The Beatles Tour and the Harry Potter Tour. If you are keen to venture further afield, I also offer trips to iconic British landmarks including Stonehenge or Runnymede - or perhaps a stroll around William Shakespeare's birthplace Stratford-Upon-Avon, the Cotswolds, Downtown Abbey, Oxford, the ancient Roman town of Bath or Royal Windsor Castle. As an ex-publican, it will also come as no surprise that I offer a tour of London's bars, inns and taverns! Whether you’re here for history, pop culture, or just unforgettable views, I make London feel like your city in just a few hours. I blend fun storytelling with real local flavour: from royal scandals and medieval mysteries to cheeky British sayings you won’t find in a guidebook. I’m friendly, relaxed, and great with first-timers, families, and seasoned travellers alike and I’ll make sure you leave with great memories and local tips to explore on your own. If you are stopping over between flights, why not consider a layover tour? I can meet you at the airport and transport you to London's centre in my air conditioned car and show you the famous sights, stop for a spot of lunch and whisk you back to the airport in time for your connecting flight. The same goes for shore excursions - I can meet you at the port and build a tour that works to your schedule, all you will need to do is sit back and enjoy! And please don't forget - if you are booking a tour please let me know whether you prefer trendy coffee shops, family friendly cafes or historic English pubs, where we can stop for a coffee, cake or a pint! Lunch can be arranged to accompany all of my tours to suit your requirements. My goal is to create a unique experience for my guests on each tour, with an emphasis on enjoyment and discovery. Please do reach out with any questions or specific requests, I will be more than happy to accommodate. I look forward to meeting you soon! Knowledge of London - Qualified London Taxi Driver Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers accredited (City University, London) Qualified London Taxi Tour Guide Member of English Heritage Member of the National Trust Member of Historic Royal Palaces Although I can accompany you into attractions such as the Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, I am not a Blue Badge guide and therefore unable to guide in these historical monuments.

The Cotswolds enjoys an Area of Natural Beauty (ANOB), great for those picture postcard photo opportunities!
