Hi there, fancy a day out from busy Central London? Enjoy cycling? Why not join me and see real...
Itinerary not perfect? Message Ginette A. to build a tour that’s just right for you.
We will provide bikes for a memorable trip out of the busy London city centre and one of our favourite places! Having lived in this area in South West London all my life, my family and friends know how lucky we are, because we live in a stunning area. Richmond Park is the largest Royal Park of London (10 km2/6m2) and was the hunting ground set up by King Charles I in the 17th Century. He walled the area and had 2000 deer put in for his favourite pass time. Thankfully after 150 years of hunting, King George III stopped the hunting and now we can see 600 deer in this unique protected area. You will enjoy a circular leisurely park cycle, with added River Thames ride and walk through the Isabella Plantation (famous for azaleas and rhododendrons in April/May time). We have a great local pub for lunch or bring a sandwich to enjoy in the park whichever you wish, returning to Richmond train station for your trains to Central London. Full day rides with summer tea picnic available just ask if interested.
• Meet at Richmond Train Station for bike set up. • Cycle along the beautiful stretch of River Thames pass remains of a 16th Century royal palace grounds. and take a short walk uphill for beautiful view of the River Thames (1 hour) • Enjoy a cycle of the Royal Park (1 hour) with stops to see the deer. • Stop at a pub for lunch or drinks, or bring lunch to enjoy in the park. • Cycle the River Thames back to Richmond Station for trains to Central London This tour as a whole or partially, can be customized to fit your preferences - please inquire!
