London Highlights Tour in an Iconic Black Taxi

Hello, my name is Stella, let me welcome you to London, a place I have lived in for most of my adult life. I was born in Brighton, Sussex and spent my childhood living on the Isle of Wight. After completing my education and moving to London, working in the corporate world and then having 2 children, I decided to study the "knowledge of London" to become a London taxi driver. I qualified back in 2001, over 20 years ago now! I have a love of travel and meeting new people and experiencing different cultures and have travelled extensively through Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. My passion for history and the sharing of my knowledge of this great City I live in led me to take the Taxi Guide course, run by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers and accredited by the City University. After completing this course I went on to qualify as a City of Westminster guide. I can offer highlights tours where you see the famous sites of central London and hear about the history from the Romans to the present day, plagues, fire & war, there are many stories to be told! Bespoke tours can be arranged creating a unique experience, this is your tour! Maybe you have an airport layover, I can meet and transport you into central London, visiting the "sights" and then transport back for your connecting flight. I also offer tours outside of London, maybe you would like to visit Windsor & Eton or Hampton Court Palace, Hever Castle or Chartwell.
