Hello and welcome to London. I have been guiding in the UK, London and Europe for 10 years and I love my job. I pride myself on a passion for history and above all, the animation of its stories and a bespoke, immersive experience that makes a tour truly memorable. I try to make my tours experiences. I like to walk inside ruins, enter places not often visited or take to the top of Londons buildings for unrivalled views of London. I like to show my guests the secret London, the local London, the unusual facts of our famous landmarks and the best parts of this small green island I call my home. From traditional pubs to local markets, from the big sights to the most photogenic areas of the city I aim to avoid the crowds and get you to the best spots and to witness all the city has to offer. From London in a day to Stonehenge and the countryside, I pride myself in getting as much as possible into your valuable time at a pace that suits you. No matter which guide you choose, I wish you an enjoyable time in this great city. My mother bought me to the British Musuem when I was a young boy and it is part of what set me in my path to become a historian and a tour guide. It is to this day my favourite museum in London and the feeling of walking through its doors is still the same feeling I got as a young boy. Back then the Inner court was full of books from the British Library but is now one of Londons largest indoor spaces. The collection has gone from strength to strength and still draws in the crowds in their millions every year. There are 2 million years of human History in the British museum, and yet just 1% of its collection of 8 million items are on display at any one time. I would love to guide you through some of the most important items in the collection as we stroll through thousands of years of civilisation. The tour should last around 2. 5 hours and can be catered to your interests from Egyptology to mesoamerican artefacts.
Our journey through History and time includes some of the following items. The best The Rosetta Stone Bust of Ramsees the Great The Winged Bulls of Khorsobad The Lion Hunt Freize of Ashurburnipal The Parthenon Marbles Hoa Hakananai'a The Moai of Easter Island The Benin Plaques of Nigeria The Sutton Hoo Burial. The Lindow man The mummies and Gebelin man The Lewis Island Chessmen and many more.
