You may only have a short time at your London moorings, but London is only a quick journey upstream, so make the most of the opportunity. You will be met and returned to your London cruise terminal for a whistle stop tour of the iconic sights of London - they're just far too good to miss! The tour is fully customised to your timespan and what you would like to see. The tour is priced for four people, larger groups can be accommodated upon request.
Dawn was a terrific guide. She accommodated our request for an evening tour which allowed us to take pictures of London sites at night. We used all public transportation - subway, taxi and double decker bus - which enabled us to view so much. The walking portion of our tour was moderate and allowed us to see off the beated path sites and get in a bit of exercise. Would highly recommend Dawn and her tour. She was a joy to be with.
When you only have a 12 hour layover in London this is a fantastic way to spend your time. Dawn was absolutely fabulous! We spent 3 hours all over the city, taking trains, buses and boats. It was so much fun. I would absolutely recommend this tour for either an introduction to the city or a short layover.
Dawn was quite knowledgeable about where to take us and all the history behind it. She answered all our questions with wit and sometimes a joke. She was quite accommodating when our transit cards did not work for the water taxi by pulling out 4 separate transit cards to cover us. She also took a slower pace for one of us to keep up. I would definitely book a tour from her again!!!
We will take a river boat upstream from your cruise terminal to the iconic sights of London. We will see (and have plenty of time for photo opportunities) Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and Westminster Abbey in Parliament Square. We will see Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, St Paul's cathedral and many other sites too numerous to mention before returning to your ship.
