Glorious Gardens of South East England

We planned a week in England (coming from America) and had difficulty deciding between a full week of garden touring vs. a more historic tour. We chose the latter but booked an extra day with Dawn for gardens. Dawn’s excellent knowledge, experience and ingenuity creates a truly wonderful Garden experience and we accomplished in a day what may have otherwise taken longer. In addition, our guide Dawn was friendly and welcoming, with a font of knowledge well beyond the gardens. We highly recommend Dawn for your next Gardens tour in England!

Returning home from our three days with Dawn on her "Glorious Gardens of Kent" tour, our minds are filled with her cogent education of gardeners, history and horticulture, her brilliant insights, and witty repartee. No question was left unanswered. Her perpetually cheery spirit, calm demeanor and well-paced schedule afforded us a tour like we’ve never experienced. How lucky we were that she was available! Move over Monty Don!!!

Dawn is an exceptionally skilled professional and a lovely person to be with. Our day with her in Kent showing us Sissinghurst Castle and Garden, Canterbury Cathedral and milestones along the pilgrims' way between them was captivating. Dawn's knowledge of her region, its histories,customs,styles,plants,animals, place name derivations,of anything and everything, is beyond impressive. She tells its stories beautifully,and also gives time to absorb and think about what you have learned. She's a star.
