Hi, my name is Lee I am a born and bred Londoner, from East London. I have been a London Taxi Driver for 30 years so you could say I know London pretty well by now !! I am a member of the WCHCD Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, which makes me a Liveryman of the Company, also have the Freedom of the City of London which in theory entitles me to drive my Sheep over London Bridge free of charge or if I am naughty I can be hung with a Silk Rope no less !! Such quaint traditions we have. I can show and tell you about our 2, 000 years of history, from the arrival of the Romans in 43AD there are still some remains to be seen up close, up to present day London with our diverse history, architecture, art galleries and museums. There is a lot to be seen and photographed. We can see a locals view of London from the comfort of my purpose built London Taxi (fully wheelchair compliant with AC) or we can venture on foot at some sights if you prefer. All of my tours are very personal and bespoke to you; we can visit all of the main attractions and places of interest in or out of town but primarily it's your tour so you decide what you would like to see and do it can be driving around with my designated driver so I can concentrate on showing and telling my guests all about the sites or if you prefer we can walk and get up close and personal to the places we visit or a combination of both it is really up to you just ask. Sights, shopping, restaurants or a bit of everything rolled into one tour or if you have a special interest in anything I'll arrange a tour around that for you. I have been doing cab tours for over eight years and love meeting and telling people about MY London. I can be booked for a few hours or a full day in or out of London if you prefer an unhurried leisurely tour stopping and taking plenty of photographs. Lunch /afternoon tea can be arranged or a visit at an old London pub to soak up the ambiance of our great city. I am a reliable easy going London Cabby who will make your tour truly memorable, some of my personal interests are cooking making and designing jewellery at my workshop and walking my two French Bulldogs Albert and Ralph in Epping Forest where I live. I love showing people around our city and showing them all the things I've discovered over the decades and having some fun while seeing all that London has to offer creating new experiences and memories from your trip to England I've made lots of friends over the years and hopefully more to come. I will be happy to answer any questions or give advice on anything you would like to know about booking a tour while you are with us holidaying in London. 30 years a London Taxi driver and a decade as a cab-guide trained by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers 104th livery company in the City of London. I have been giving tours since 2012 and enjoyed every minute.

We will visit the lifeblood and heart of London's markets (Spitalfields is close to me as I worked there as a "Beadle", an old-fashioned word for a market constable). I can tell you stories about the markets goings on firsthand, they were an integral part of London life and its rich history over the centuries. We will visit on our tour Spitalfields, Leadenhall, and Borough market, one of the oldest, established (1014) and still working markets in the city, selling vegetables and fruit by day, a buzzing vibrant place bombarding the senses with sights and smells where you can buy and try various produce; everything from homemade bread, cheeses, olives, fruit and vegetables, even lobster. There are great places to try the many amazing different types of food on sale, whereas Spitalfields market has everything from vintage clothing to handmade hats, coats, jewellery, scarves and much more there are lots of artworks and public spaces to chill and relax many cafes and pubs are nearby to visit a must-do tour.
• We will meet at an agreed start point for the tour either Liverpool Street, Bishopsgate or at London Bridge Station, Borough entrance whichever is more preferable • We will discover the inside of the markets and its history, whether trying the foods on offer at Borough or the shops and stalls of Spitalfields • Discover the 17th-century Georgian streets of the Huguenot Silk Weavers and the period houses of Weavers Town. • Visit a public roof garden and see the cities modern buildings up close. • We will visit Leadenhall market, our prettiest in the city, with its painted walls and cobbled street. • Once the tour is finished I can escort you somewhere or you may want to soak up more of the areas. These markets have so much to see, do and experience! They are such vibrant and creative areas in London for us to discover together and try some of their wonderful goods on offer and soak up their unique atmosphere.
