Cotswolds with a Blue Badge guide in an Executive Vehicle

An unforgettable day in the Cotswolds Alexander was an outstanding guide for our full-day Cotswolds tour. We visited Bampton, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Broadway, and every stop was picture-perfect. But what really made the day special was Alexander himself — we ended up talking for the entire 9 hours straight, covering everything from sport to politics to history, family, and religion. It never felt like a scripted tour; it felt like a genuine, wide-ranging conversation with someone knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The vehicle was comfortable and immaculate, and the pace of the day was perfect — plenty of time to explore each village on foot without feeling rushed. Alexander's knowledge of the region's history and culture added so much depth to what we were seeing. This was genuinely one of the most interesting and enjoyable tours I've ever taken. Highly recommend Alexander to anyone visiting the Cotswolds!

Alexander was very knowledgeable and since he’s an ex-taxi driver, he knew exactly how to get around city center. Our first day was all about London city center, and we had a great day visiting Buckingham Palace, Churchill War Rooms, Tower of London, and other charming locations throughout that made our visit so fun and interesting. The whole family felt connected to London’s history and the reality of seeing real sites and learning the stories and facts from Alexander made it even more memorable. Day 2 was a little further out with Hampton Court, and Windsor Castle and Richmond. Alexander drove us from the hotel to the sites then back again. Even in between each outing, he was very helpful in recommending other places to visit and explore while we were in town. We were very happy with the whole experience thanks to Alexander.

My 16 year son and I had a great day with Alex. We saw the Churchill War Rooms, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. The day buzzed by quickly. Alex was friendly, knowledgable and also patient with questions. He also talked soccer with my son throughout the day as well, which my son, who is a big fan, thoroughly enjoyed. We learned a lot, enjoyed the pace of the day and will call Alex the next time we are back in London!

This extended full day tour of the Cotswolds was our second outing with Alex. We had previously done a half-day tour of Windsor Castle with him. As it turned out, we had another off the chart experience! From London it’s a 2-hour drive each way and Alex’s Black Cab was in pristine condition and was very comfortable for our group of five active seniors. In addition to touring the most charming villages, we had two special requests. We asked to see a few of the Downton sights and Sam took us to one and we drove past others. We also asked to have a memorable lunch which Alex helped set up. We’re still talking about it. Most of us only get one chance to have this experience and touring with Alex, a blue badge guide, made it perfect. Thank you, Alex!
