Hello, my name is James and I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish. I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to travel all across this beautiful country over the years, seeing some impressive sights and visiting some incredible places, including being in Balmoral Castle while the Queen was in residence (but that's a story for another time). There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in out ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. Red Cross First Aid Certificate Whisky Ambassador I have been guiding since my early 20's all over the world but I love guiding in my home country of Scotland. Please note; I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of historical monuments. I can, however, accompany you inside and provide a brief overview.

The first stop of the day is Edradour, Scotland's smallest distillery. Located near to the village of Pitlochry, this traditional distillery has remained largely unchanged since Victorian times. With its rich, deep flavour, smooth, creamy texture and hint of smokiness, Edradour is your perfect introduction to the highland whisky region. We will then stop for lunch in Pitlochry. Here you will be spoiled for choice with the range of restaurants and cafes, several of which overlook the town's famous salmon ladder and hydro dam. Once suitably refreshed we will set off to the Aberfeldy Distillery. Here you can tour the Dewar's Museum, blend your own virtual whisky and sample a wee dram of either single malt or one of their famous blends. The final distillery is the exquisite Tullibardine in the village of Blackford. This family-owned distillery has been producing handcrafted single malt for decades using the fresh clear water from the nearby Ochil Hills. This really is the perfect location for a distillery!
The itinerary will be the following: 09:00h: Departure from the agreed collection point (Ocean Terminal/Hotel etc). 11:00h: Arrival at Edradour Distillery. 11:45h: Pitlochry Village for lunch. 13:00h: Depart Pitlochry for Aberfeldy 13:30h: Arrive at Aberfeldy Distillery 14:15h: Depart Aberfeldy Distillery and travel to Tulliabrdine Distillery 15:15h: Arrival at Tullibardine Distillery 16:00h: Depart Tullibardine Distillery 17:00h: Arrival back at drop off point (Times are approximated and will be dependent on traffic and other conditions). This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
