Hi! My name is Gill (pronounced as' Jill') and I am Scottish to the core. . . I bring many years experience in leading private and small group tours all over Scotland and I am committed to delivering relaxed, fun, sustainable and professional tours. Together, we can visit all of Scotland's iconic routes and sites around the highlands and the lowlands, including -but certainly not limited to, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Stirling Castle, Outlander filming locations, whisky distilleries and, of course, the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. We will travel in the comfort of my VW Transporter (max 5 passengers) -which is perfect for taking in the wondrous views. As we travel I will share with you stories of our turbulent history, explain the effects of Scotland's amazing geology, and generally look at life in Scotland today. My experience: I spent ten wonderful years driver guiding small group bus tours (up to 16 guests) for Scotland's biggest, best and multi award winning small group tour company. I now combine that experience, their five star training and further professional training, which results in my relaxed and fun style of delivering professionally researched and informative tours. . . that are always, always memorable! Scotland really is a remarkably stunning and interesting wee country. . . I will bring alive our complex history and explain our geological wonders while you concentrate on capturing the beauty of the land and her people -in your heart and your camera! Your tour will be adapted to suit your interests. . . please come to me with your ideas/wishes. IMPORTANT: **Green Tourism** Every tour I run is offset by supporting the Trees For Life Initiative (TFL) equivalent to at least one tree planted per day. TFL are planting, protecting and restoring native woodland in Highland Scotland (specifically Glen Affric for my support). All tours are carried out with sustainability at the forefront: fuel efficiency; supporting environmentally friendly & sustainable local businesses; respecting land and natural heritage; raising awareness of environmental issues and promoting good practice on fragile lands. Qualified Scottish Blue Badge Guide -accredited in Europe and Worldwide Qualified Whisky Ambassador Ten years experience of leading bespoke small group tours all around Scotland. Professional driver -D1 Licence holder Driver guide with appropriate Public Liability and Hire & Reward insurances I guide only in English

This day takes you through the heart of the stunning Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park! From Glasgow, you quickly cross into the highlands and travel the length of Loch Lomond's famous 'Bonnie Banks'! Heading further north across the desolate beauty of Rannoch Moor and swooping down through the mighty peaks of Glen Coe itself. The journey is peppered with tales of life gone by, clan feuds and Scotland's world class geology. Complimented by the obligatory photo stops and a subtle backdrop of Scottish music (if desired). * Scotland's weather is never predictable. . . please bring waterproofs!
