We had a lovely tour with Weera (Lee). He was well spoken and informed about a wide variety of topics, including history, geography, and family life - just to name a few. We had a two-hour drive to the dock in which we got acquainted - and Lee is a good driver! Lee had arranged all details for our longtail boat ride to the limestone cliffs and James Bond Island and a nice canoe ride through the mangroves with a stop at a floating village. It was wonderful having Lee explain details of the village (mosque, school, families having souvenir shops and their infrastructure). We highly recommend Weera (Lee) as your tour guide if you want a more personal experience.

At our request, Peach took us to some non-touristy parts of Bangkok, and we had a great time. Among the attractions were an amazing Wat, a couple of local floating markets, and a longtail boat ride down the side canals (not one of the ones down the main rivers). She also taught us some history of King Bhumibol, how to fold lotus flowers, and ways that the Buddhists show respect in the temples. It was a great way to spend a day.
