We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Bangkok with Jay! She was an incredible tour guide and truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Jay took us to so many amazing places, including Wat Traimit and the Golden Buddha, the Flower Market, Wat Pho and the incredible 46-meter Reclining Buddha, the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple, Chinatown, and Sampeng Market. We also had a fantastic longtail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River and through the canals. She made sure we experienced not only the famous sights, but also some of the local culture and food, including a delicious lunch at Krua Apsorn and the most amazing mango sticky rice at K. Panich! What really stood out to us was how wonderful Jay was with our daughters. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure they were having fun. She remembered that one of our daughters loved squishies and actually took them to some squishy shops during the day. That small gesture meant so much to them — and to us as parents. It was clear that Jay wasn’t just focused on showing us Bangkok; she wanted to make the experience enjoyable for everyone in our family. Jay was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and incredibly attentive. She kept the day organized while still making it feel relaxed and fun. She shared so much interesting information and was always happy to answer our questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide for our Bangkok adventure. This was my first trip to Bangkok and the day I spent with Jay was a highlight. Not only did she take me to popular attractions but she shared lesser known but equally interesting locations. The pace of the tour was perfect for a full day of touring. I highly recommend this tour because the van quickly transports you between locations and gives you a break from the heat. Jay knows all the shortcuts and places to take the best pictures. On top of the sightseeing Jay give fascinating facts and information about the history of Bangkok. I love Tours by Locals and put this adventure with Jay at the top of my list!!

We had Jay for two days. We were struggling a bit with the heat and humidity levels in Thailand and she did a great job of adjusting the tour to give us plenty of rest in air-conditioned spaces. The transportation was wonderful and there was always plenty of cold water and cold towels to cool us off after getting back to the van. Jay was very knowledgeable about the places she showed us and her suggestions for how to spend our time were excellent. We toured all of the major sites in Bangkok on the first day and went to Ayutthaya to view the old capital ruins on the second day.

We went to the floating market, and the train market, the fish market, and saw a salt farm and sugar farm. Jay is great at communicating and making a tour to fit your interests. Highly recommended.
