Superb! Private Bangkok Custom Made Tour By Private Van For 2 Days.

Outstanding! Best of Bangkok! This is the best tour we have ever done. Jay and her driver were fantastic! My family of 7 (including teenagers) all said she is amazing! We did 2 days in Bangkok with Jay and she showed us the markets, temples, rivers, and spoiled us with the best Thai food in Bangkok (places only the locals know). Her local tips were priceless and so helpful for the remainder of our trip in Thailand. Throughout the day, she made sure we had water and cold towels. She treated us to many memorable souvenirs and we are still very thankful. Her energy was tireless and she adapted her schedule based upon our wishes and timing. Originally the Tours by Locals' ratings for Jay were the deciding factor on booking our private group tour with her. I am so thankful that I went with my intuition and booked a 2-day tour with her. I told her the things that my group members wanted to see and she absolutely nailed it. Which is not easy when you are have 8 opinionated adults to please! Jay is extremely knowledgeable about her country - past, present and future. She answered such a variety of questions from 8 people with different focuses. She provided flexibility and was able to direct us to resources as needed. She has a charismatic personality making her very personable and likable. Despite her charm she managed to always maintain her professionalism. Her ability to deal respectfully with group dynamics was beautifully executed. This obviously was not her first rodeo. Initially she met with all of us as a group and asked targeted questions, listened to each of us and only then developed an individualized tour plan. She let the group know that this was a private tour and that she was at our service to show us what WE wanted to see. She let us know up front that if at any time we decided we would like to go in a different direction that wound be fine. Being our first visit to Bangkok she was able to advise us on the "must see" sites and fit them into our tour. Everyone in the group was so amazed by her ability to listen, process and provide! For me one of the most important traits that Jay demonstrated was the ability to listen to everyone and adapt in ways that allowed her to provide a variety of experiences that made all of us feel like our personal needs were met.

We had two wonderful days with Jay who picked us up at the hotel in Bangkok. The first day we visited many temples, markets, boat tour and a tuk tuk ride. We pretty much hit all of our major bucket list in one day. She was cheerful, energetic, and communicated with us to arrange a tour to suit us. We were only two, but the van could hold more. The driver was careful and experienced, the vehicle clean and roomy. Water provide during the hot day. The second day we went out of town to see the old capital of Thailand, we fed the elephants, and saw the queen's museum with beautiful handicrafts from highly trained artisans. restaurant choices were great. Highly recommended.

I only had most of two days in Bangkok, so wanted to optimize my time spent as it was my first ever visit there. Jay was extremely helpful in creating a custom itinerary for me and taking me to see some amazing locations in Bangkok the first day, then to Ayutthaya the second. She infused the tour with information about language and culture and was overall an excellent guide. I'll definitely be going back to Thailand, with more confidence now that I've had an expert help me get acclimated. If this is your first trip, as it was mine, I highly recommend you consider booking with Jay to start things off right.

Jay was fabulous. She went above and beyond for our group. One person wasn’t feeling well and missed out on half a day of our tour but Jay went out of her way to make sure they got the full experience. She was very adaptable to our wants and was able to accommodate everything. Thank you Jay!
