Life is a journey but unless you've visited Thailand. . . it's not complete. Hello and Sawadee, my name is Tommy and I've been a Thai tour guide for over a decade now. Probably I will be a guide for a decade more because my job is my passion in life! Previous to my life as a Thai guide I was a marketing manager for a life insurance company in Thailand. But I didn't stick with that and became a Thai guide and I haven't looked back since. What I love most about my job is that I get a chance to meet people from all over the world and make friends with them. Second is that I get a chance to share my love for Thai food. So as you will see in my tours page, I have a special private food tour for Thai food lovers as well. But of course next to the food I know my way around all the historical sites in Bangkok and Thailand of which I am very proud to share. I also know many hidden secret markets, shrines, backstreets and undiscovered cultural places in the city. It always excites me a lot when I discover a new hidden gem in the city or at the countryside. During my time as a freelance guide for a high-end travel company in South East Asia, I have been their event planner for special occasions. This specialized company send me out frequently with managers from overseas travel companies on inspection trips and to set out new itineraries for these travel companies. The company awarded me with an Excellent Guide Award for the year 2013. In the last few years I have been to the United States, Europe and of course many Asian countries. I hope my travels will bring me to many new destinations in the future. I am looking forward to spend one or more amazing days with you as my guests in Bangkok. This is the perfect 2 days private tour to Bangkok if you arrive by ship at Laem Chabang port. My driver will meet you at the port and drive to Bangkok in about 2, 5 hours. Here I will meet you and together we'll explore all your requested places. Walking along the ancient Buddhist temples and palaces will make you feel as if you've enetered into the glorious lives of kings, monks and you'll understand why thai people love to life in peace and happiness. Of course we'll enjoy lots of delicious food during this day as well. After a fun day together me and my driver will bring you back to the port for overnight. The next day we will explore the area nearby the port together. On this day a visit to the Sanctuary of Truth, Pattaya floating market and maybe an elephant camp are some of the highlights. Of course there are many more things to do in both Bangkok and Pattaya. You can also decide to stay overnight in Bangkok and visit some more highlights of the city on your second day.
Tommy was a great guide and driver Paul got us there and back quickly and safely. Loved the Michelin starred restaurant stop for lunch and surprisingly great value for money at £17pp Would highly recommend Tommy who was helpful, kind, patient and knowledgeable
First time in Bangkok and we had 2 wonderful days with Tommy. Tommy is an excellent, professional, knowledgeable and very friendly guide. We covered everything on our itinerary plus additional off the beaten path hidden gems! Tommy also treated us to a variety of local street food which was fun and delicious! Highly recommend Tommy as your guide for your time in Bangkok!

Our small group had a great couple of days with Tommy. He was always willing to provide advice and a basic itinerary which we could adapt as we wished. Very responsive when answering questions and offering advice. Very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke English well. Very comfortable minivan and water frequently supplied during the hot days. Took us to some excellent restaurants for lunch. Would thoroughly recommend him as a guide.
Tommy is fantastic. He had his driver treated us to a great two day trip from our cruise ship to Bangkok and Ayutthaya. The days were extremely hot at 41°C, but he was ready with an ice chest of cold water, sodas, towels along with a nice air condition vehicle. We were very open about what we saw, and he made suggestions that were excellent, especially given the heat. He took us to local restaurants and shops he recommended that made the trip feel very local. We would recommend him to anyone Kent and Jeff
Tommy is a very nice man but we did have some problems. His English isn't quite fluent and we had difficulty understanding him. He also did not set the tour for an older group even though we told him some in our group had mobility problems. We also told him that we needed relief from the 95 degree weather but nowhere he took us (except for lunch) had a/c. We spent 2 days with Tommy. Our first in Bangkok was very problematic. Our 2nd, in Pattaya was much better.
Sample itinerary to Bangkok and Pattaya: 07. 30 am. Meet driver at port and drive to Bangkok. 10. 00 am. Visit the flower market together. 10. 45 am. Visit Wat Pho reclining Buddha. 11. 30 am. Explore the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. 1 pm. Local delicious lunch. 2 pm. Make a longtail boat ride along tha canals. 3 pm. We all drive back to the port. 5. 30 pm Arrive back at your ship and overnight. Sample itinerary for the second day in Pattaya: 09. 00 am. Meet me at the port and drive to elephant camp. 09. 45 am. Arrive at the Sanctuary of Truth wooden temple. 11. 00 am. Arrive at Pattaya floating market and enjoy this colorful site. 12.30 pm. Visit Nong Nooch gardens. 2.30 pm. Drive along the boulevard or visit a local market, shopping, Thai massage. 4.00 pm. Arrive back at your ship. This itinerary is a sample tour and will be adjusted to your wishes. If you want to stay overnight in Bangkok you do need to book a hotel for that night.
