Sawaddee Ka! My name is Peach. I am a licensed tour guide base in Bangkok. I grew up in many places all over Thailand so all the experiences about the culture, virtue, traditions and people of all those places have been absorbed in me and groomed me up to be myself today. A lot of people have asked me why I wanted to be a tour guide: since I started travelling, I realized that having a good tour guide makes the experience of the trip a lot more memorable and meaningful. So I thought I wanted to be a tour guide myself to make sure that the people travelling to my area can certainly have a wonderful time. A place can be beautiful but it will have no meaning to the visitors if nobody is there to tell its stories. A lot of simple things in unfamiliar culture wouldn't reflect clearly the way of life of the local people when there is no story teller to share the experience with. I wanted to be the person who makes a great difference by telling all the stories that I have known all my life to the world so that my guests can listen how we have grown as a long history country, full of culture and life. I am always excited to show my country! I love wearing traditional Thai dresses especially when I do a tour as I think it's beautiful. So I would like my travelers to see how Thais dressed in the past. I am proud to be Thai. I also would like to show it to you. I have been a guide for more than 10 years now. However, I still feel like it was yesterday that I just started working for the first time. I always wake up in the morning and excited to go to work because I know that every day I will share my knowledge, have fun with my tour group and be a part of their amazing days in Thailand. Peach was very professional and approachable. She made us feel welcome right from the start. She was very knowledgeable about the local conditions and made sure we got the best seats and the best views. The driver was also very professional and drove with our safety in mind. Both of them made the trip a memorable one.
On our second visit to Bangkok this year, we chose Peaches for our tour guide again because she is so terrific. She did a custom tour for us to the railroad and floating markets. Logistics were flawless; wonderful info and commentary from Peaches; even our driver was great. We love her, and hope to see her again when we're back again.
We spent a great day with Peach at the train market and floating market. She was very knowledgeable and answered every single of the many questions we had about life in Thailand. He network with vendors at the market was very helpful and her English was very good. We'd tour again with Peach anytime.
Peach is the best! She made us very comfortable and knew everything there was to know about the sites we visited. She even made sure we got reasonable deals in the market and explained how the culture operates. We had many questions and she engaged on every one. Pick up from the hotel lobby. Drive past the sea salt pan on the way and learn how the farmer makes salt. Continue to the Train market to see the daily train that drives through a busy local market. Visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Take a boat from a pier a little bit away from the market to ride along a small canal to the market. The boat driver paddles slowly in the market for you to have a chance to try a variety of food and shopping from inside the boat. Have a chance to walk to the market on land to take some more photos before leaving the market to go back to Bangkok. Please Note: the tour itinerary can be adjusted to suit the schedule of the train, weather, and traffic.
