Life is a journey but unless you've visited Thailand. . . it's not complete. Hello and Sawadee, my name is Tommy and I've been a Thai tour guide for over a decade now. Probably I will be a guide for a decade more because my job is my passion in life! Previous to my life as a Thai guide I was a marketing manager for a life insurance company in Thailand. But I didn't stick with that and became a Thai guide and I haven't looked back since. What I love most about my job is that I get a chance to meet people from all over the world and make friends with them. Second is that I get a chance to share my love for Thai food. So as you will see in my tours page, I have a special private food tour for Thai food lovers as well. But of course next to the food I know my way around all the historical sites in Bangkok and Thailand of which I am very proud to share. I also know many hidden secret markets, shrines, backstreets and undiscovered cultural places in the city. It always excites me a lot when I discover a new hidden gem in the city or at the countryside. During my time as a freelance guide for a high-end travel company in South East Asia, I have been their event planner for special occasions. This specialized company send me out frequently with managers from overseas travel companies on inspection trips and to set out new itineraries for these travel companies. The company awarded me with an Excellent Guide Award for the year 2013. In the last few years I have been to the United States, Europe and of course many Asian countries. I hope my travels will bring me to many new destinations in the future. I am looking forward to spend one or more amazing days with you as my guests in Bangkok. On the second day of our time time together we'll visit the impressive ancient ruins of Ayutthaya town. This was once the capital of Thailand and if you love history you can emerge yourself in Asian traditions and culture here. On the third day we'll get out of town and visit the most fun markets in Thailand. the hectic train market and the waterways around the floating market. Both typical thai markets that you will love for sure.
Tommy was great! We did a custom 3 day tour with him. We always had cold drinks waiting in the car and a driver waiting. For the tours, he arranged private boats for each activity. He knew lots of local spots that had no other tourists, so we were able to take it time and not feel rushed. Would recommend Tommy for all your Bangkok tours!
We went on an amazing 3-day Bangkok tour with Tommy Wisawasompop and saw/learned SOOO much! I never expected to do that many things in 3 days! Tommy had a great itinerary planned and then added in some other sites/events as he learned our interests. He is very organized and the whole trip went very smoothly. And he is so kind - he even gave us a bag of Thailand souvenirs! If you are traveling to Bangkok, you should book a tour with Tommy.

We have found the perfect guide in Tommy. We asked him to guide us during our 3 day trip from Bangkok-Kanchanaburi-Ayutthaya. He also arranged a very comfortable luxury van for our family with cold drinks along the way. As a former guide working for a bigger more commercial travel company he knows all the nice stops and places. We have seen everything we asked for and he always arranged something special around that. Also in the evening a nice or special spot to have diner.
