On this Bangkok walking tour I will meet your at your hotel in Bangkok and from here we'll start our journey into time. At the pillar shrine I will teach you how to make an offering to the spirits of the city. Thai people believe that starting a journey with positive blessings is considered auspicious. So this way your Thailand holiday will start with positive vibes. Together we will walk to the Grand Palace and visit the Emerald Buddha where we can pay an homage to the Buddha. Along the temple walls I will take you on an epic story called the Ramayana to learn how good will always conquers bad. This story is painted decoratively on the temple walls. We continue to the Grand Palace where all royal ceremonies are held and the present king sometimes dwells in search of wisdom. At Wat Pho you will visit the reclining Buddha and the first massage school in Thailand. Frome here we'll walk to the colorful Pak Klong Talad flower market to see the Thai merchant lifestyle.

We had an amazing morning with Jay. She managed to cram tons of wonderful stuff into one morning before the rains came! We took a long boat tour, visited Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, the flower market, Chinatown, the Jade Buddha temple AND the gold Buddha temple as well. We are pretty fast-paced people and she let us at the pace; it was perfect. There were a few things we weren’t sure we wanted to do and I was glad that she had encouraged us to do them! I would definitely book with Jay again and encourage my friends to do the same.
We had a great tour with Jay! She met us at our hotel and was so kind to bring welcoming gifts for all of us! She worked with us to build a schedule for the day to allow for a reservation we had later in the afternoon and ensured that we would end the day conveniently at our next location. She was an expert at transporting us throughout the city and worked with our mobility issues and communicated with our drivers well to ensure we all stayed together. We packed a lot into the tour, seeing everything we had wanted to (and more!) and the tour extended past the 4 hour mark without a concern from her. She also communicated with us so well about how we wanted to work out payments at the various sites for entrance fees etc. I would highly recommend having Jay show you around Bangkok-she was so organized and knowledgeable!
In the short amount of time we had with Jay we felt that we saw so much! Everything was planned perfectly.
Jay is an extremely professional guide. She communicated with us prior to arrival in Bangkok and was waiting for us the morning of our tour. We had 4 1/2 hours and Jay managed the time perfectly, allowing us to see much of the city. Don't miss the Grand Palace. The flower market is amazing. We took a private canal boat tour which Jay arranged - fabulous! She educates you as you are strolling thru the tour, always assuring you have a cold drink and cooling towels. Do not hesitate to book with Jay! Do it.
We did a visit to Golden Mount and a walking tour through Chinatown. Jay is very nice, gave all necessary information and took into account the fact that we were traveling with 2 kids (13 yrs and 10 yrs) who aren't always up to what adults like.
We meet at your hotel in Bangkok. Walk to the Wat Phra Kaew and Grand Palace to visit the Emerald Buddha and Royal Palace. Explore Wat Pho reclining Buddha and massage school. We can have a drink opposite Wat Arun temple for this stunning view. Continue to the Pak Klong talad flower market and roam this colorful flower and vegetable market. From here you are on your own to explore or you can go back to your hotel. This tour is for approx 4 hours. So this walking tour can be combined with my delicious Bangkok Food and Fun tour.
