We had the absolute pleasure of touring Ayutthaya with Ken, and it was one of the true highlights of our time in Thailand. Ken is a genuinely warm and thoughtful guide who took great care to ensure we were comfortable throughout the day—no small feat in the intense heat. His attention to detail and quiet attentiveness made the entire experience feel relaxed and effortless. We visited three stunning wat complexes, each brought to life by Ken’s insights. One of the most memorable moments was seeing the remarkable sight of a banyan tree that has grown around a Buddha head—both striking and serene, and something we will not forget. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch in a beautifully air-conditioned restaurant, perfectly timed and very much appreciated. What truly set the day apart, however, was the opportunity to talk with Ken. Learning about his life in Thailand and his perspective on the world added a deeply personal and enriching layer to the experience. Ken was our tour guide April 8 to Ayutthaya. There were 4 of us. We were picked up on time at our hotel by Ken and his driver at the pre determined time. The van was extremely comfortable and air conditioned, since it was very hot. Ken and I had talked thru the what’s app following my booking many times, setting up our specific meeting time and delivery point. Ken was very helpful in coordinating our drop off at our ship, which was out of the ordinary. Regarding our tour, Ken was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. He was very thoughtful and cognizant of the extreme heat that day. He also toke us to a delightful restaurant with delicious food.
