Hello fun loving traveler, welcome to Thailand! The land of golden stupa's, amazing food and the best holiday you can imagine. My name is Vanna and for the last 20 years I have been walking and talking around Thailand with travelers like yourself. I've been all over Thailand with couples, families, tourgroups and schooltrips. I can say that I know my country and culture inside out and love to share many fun and amazing anekdotes with you. Before I changed my life and became a Thai tour guide I mainly worked for commercial companies. For almost 10 years I was the secretary of the General Manager for Maersk shipping company at the sales and marketing department. What I learned at Maersk was how to work and communicate with people from all over the world and because each culture has it's own traits, it was a great 'school of life' for me. After this I became supervisor for the famous Chao Praya Express boat company which runs public transportation along the main river of Bangkok. I got to know the company behind this mass transportation company and all the best spots at each pier. So I love to take my guests around Bangkok while using the express boat and tell them all the ins and outs of each spot and how it all works to get around Bangkok city. I love to play sports like tennis and in my free time explore some of the new restaurants, visit local markets for newly designed items and just talk with my friends and have a good time. If you have a special trip in mind or if you need suggestions for a great time in Thailand, just let me know and we can set up a great experience together. If you can stand the heat and love to explore Bangkok by public transportation, then this is your fun day trip. I will meet you at your hotel or your requested place inside Bangkok city. Together we will embark on a fun trip while using the Chao Praya Express boat or other public means of transportation. We will get off at some different pier's and roam the different highlights at each stop. For sure a visit to Chinatown and the ancient ancesteral shrines and the fresh markets is part of the visit. Wat Arun is also located on the banks of the river and from here you have a great view over the Grand Palace on the other side. Maybe you like to visit Wang Lang market and stroll along Banglamphu area where all the backpackers meet. We can of course visit the Grand Palace and reclining Buddha as well and many other amazing places on this 8 hours tour. The tour is fully customizeable and we can create the prefect day together depending on your own interests during this day.
I had the most amazing day touring Bangkok with Vanna. With her, I was able to explore the city by various modes of public transportation, hitting all of the Bangkok highlights that I desired to see. Along the way, Vanna shared her knowledge and information about the many sights, culture, and history of the city. Everything about the day flowed perfectly. I would highly recommend Vanna for a memorable tour!
Vanna is knowledgeable, energetic, caring and FUN. We had a wonderful time on our tour which gave us a great overview of the city. The tour had a nice balance to it and we were able to do and see many different things as well as have a delicious quick lunch. Vanna knows when to give you a break or stop for a cooling off just by looking at you. She was also kind enough to take photos of us and she knows all the best spots and angles to get the best pictures. Thank you Vanna for 5 star ⭐️ day!
We took two private tours w/ Vanna in early July and she is AMAZING! The weather was brutally hot and humid and she came prepared with lots of cold towels and water. I started referring to her as "Mama Bear" because she really took care of us. On day one we saw the temples, Grand Palace & took a boat ride through the canals. On day two we went to the 24 hr flower market & did a nighttime Chinatown food tour. She knows all the best spots and it was the highlight for us. Highly recommend any tour w/ Vanna!
My husband and I and girls 14.16 enjoyed a full day tour with Vanna. She was very flexible, as we only told her quite last minute where we wanted to go. We left early in an A/C van with driver for the railway and floating markets and coconut farm. It takes a couple of hours each way but she had water for us. We had lunch of noodle soup and mango sticky rice at the floating market. Vanna is friendly, happy to share her knowledge and is easy to understand. She has a good pace so you can see lots. Thankyou
What an amazing day we had with Vanna. We could not have picked a more friendly, giving, knowledgeable guide to show us all the key sites of Bangkok. We raced around the city by subway, long boat, tuk tuk, taking in the beauty, history and culture. Vanna is obviously well loved and respected everywhere we went as we were welcomed with broad smiles. Favourites: the private longboat ride, seeing the reclining Buddha and lunch at a local restaurant, Ama, where Vanna was right about their amazing pad thai!
I have been on many tour but nobody has ever been such a great guide. The knowledge but more importantly the enthusiasm of this guide is what other guides should be judged by. She was prepared with everything in here bag from suntan lotion, cold packs, water ect. I plan to bring my family next year and will definitely take this tour again
This is a suggestion for a great tour but it's fully customizeable: -I'll meet you at your hotel in the morning and together we go to the old parts of town by public transportation. -Visit Chinatown and ancient shrines and markets. Continue to the flower market. -Get on the Chao Praya Express boat to Wat Arun. -Local lunch at Wang Lang market. -Visit the GRand Palace and Emerald Buddha. -Roam the streets nearby the giant swing to enjoy the local Thai life. But many options are possible and we can create the day as we go.
