Hi Everyone! I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Leticia I am a local who has a passion for her city, Toledo. Along the streets of one of the largest historic cities in Europe, I spent my childhood running and playing at the same time as discovering new corners and new treasures. My curiosity about the city encouraged me to study for a degree in Art History at the University of Castilla La Mancha, from which I graduated in 2002. Following my graduation, I began working with an archeologist team here in Toledo. My fascination grew as I learned to understand and appreciate the archeological excavations and how and why this city is shaped in such an amazing and monumental mix of styles. To improve my English, I spent a few years living in London during which time I worked in temporary art exhibitions and for the British Museum in the audio guides section and the bookshop. Missing the Spanish sunshine, my family and I decided to return to Spain and continue my career as a tour guide here, in Toledo. In the last year, I have been studying for my official licence as a tour guide in Toledo which allows me to show you all the fascinating architecture and treasures I was so pleased to discover as a child. We can walk around the city following different periods and architectural styles and I can adapt the tour to suit all your needs and wishes. Remember, Toledo has more than 20 official monuments from the Roman period until the twentieth century. It is well known as the city of the three cultures and still has in existence religious buildings from the three main religions, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish, since medieval times. It will be my pleasure to be your guide on a delightful tour of this lovely city.

This tour is special for first visitors as we will follow the footprint of the first tribes who decided to establish this emblematic site. How the river Tajo, the longest in Spain, offered his protection and provided them with clean water and food. Once we understand the nature of the election, we will connect it with the following cultures: Roman settlement, Visigothic church, Catholic, Muslim, and Jewish synagogue. We will visit the main first buildings and walls in Toledo. Come and let me guide you. It will be my pleasure.
We can start at your arrival at the Railway Station Platform or anywhere else if you use other transportation to get to Toledo, or I will pick you up at any hotel if you are already here. In this first contact with Toledo, we will be focused in the Palace area visiting: - Santa Fe convent with a part of the oldest wall of the city - Zocodover Square and the legends surrounding it. - Alcazar Castle with the rest of the Roman and Islamic Palace. - Cathedral Square, where we will talk about the buildings with more power in the city.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
