Jewish Toledo: Half Day Private Walking Tour

Back in the 20th century, I was born in front of Tránsito Synagogue (where the maternity hospital was) so I can say I'm part of the Jewish Quarter History since my birth! I still remember the first time my history teacher took us into the Synagogues, as an school activity. I was only 10 years old but the impression still remains in me when I look at the Synagogues prayers room through your eyes. Both are precious Mudéjar art examples: christian rules, moorish style and jewish purposes. In this tour I speak for the people who didn't have voice in the past but influenced so much our present. The jewhis culture is in what we eat, in what we do on saturdays and even in nowadays european medical treatments. Allow me to show you how important was their coexistence with muslims and christians along one thousand years, here, in Toledo.

- Panoramic around the river Tajo landscapes and the old town skyline. (30 minutes ish) We'll stop for pictures at San Martín Bridge, from where you can see the Jewish Quarter skyline. - The walking tour starts at San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, founded by the Queen Isabela (exterior) and the Sofer Synagogue archaeological remains (underground) - Coffe break and marzipan tasting (15 min) - Inside visit to Sta.
