My husband and I had an amazing visit to Toledo with Pepe. He communicated with me in advance about the pickup location and arrived exactly when he said he would. During the drive from Madrid he went into great detail about the Jews’ arrival in Spain and brought us up through the centuries to the Middle Ages. Once inside the old city walls, he provided background on the Spanish crusades, the inquisition, and the expulsion. Pepe’s detailed knowledge of history of biblical and ancient times, the Roman period, European conflicts, Spain, and Judaism combined to provide us with a true learning experience. I recommend Pepe highly as a guide, he made the difference, turning what would have been an ok day, into an important experience that will stay with us.

Fantastic tour. Hard to imagine a better guide for this tour. He is so knowledgeable while also being very personable. He can get into great depth if that’s what you want. We were in Spain for almost 3 weeks and we found it one of our most fascinating days in Spain.
