Private day trip to Toledo from Madrid. A tour unique for you

Toledo was impressive. Mayte was knowledgeable about the history, and especially the art, and in that regard, I highly recommend her if your main focus is on the art and art history. The tour cost would be better value for a small group than for an individual, in my opinion.

Mayte is a terrific guide and I would recommend her highly. She met us at the hotel to take us on our trip to Toledo. We started with a taxi ride overlooking the city with wonderful views and an introduction to the history of the city from the Roman times to the Ottoman to the present day. She was very knowledgeable about everything, and gave us a wonderful sense of how the history played out in the city. She pointed out details and explained how they were made and named, which gave us a great understanding of different cultures and how they affected each other. She also did not rush us and paced the tour to our abilities (both being seniors). It was a wonderful trip and she made it very worthwhile!

Shoji did a great job taking us around Tokyo to all the major items as well as teaching us the metro. Highly recommend him for your sightseeing needs in Japan.

Our tour with Mayte was a splurge for my wife and me. The tour was worth it. Mayte bought our train tickets, met us at our hotel and walked with is to the station. She guided us to the correct seats . In Toledo she took us to the main sights and some not often visited. She told us the basic history and answered my often detailed questions. She made Toledo a very memorable experience

This was our second day with Mayte, and after an unforgettable tour in Madrid, Toledo did not disappoint. We met Mayte in Madrid and took the train to Toledo, where she kindly guided us through security and helped us find our seats. Toledo was breathtaking—its landscapes, history, and landmarks came to life through Mayte’s stories and insights. She introduced us to hidden gems, including the deliciously sweet Toledanos. The Cathedral was exceptional, both in its grandeur and beauty. A special thanks to Mayte for expertly guiding us through its masterpieces and artworks. Her deep knowledge of history, art, and culture, combined with her engaging storytelling, made the experience truly enriching. She is a fantastic guide—passionate, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to explore with!
