At first glance, this arid land might seem barren to you, It has taken me some time to realize the wealth of this part of my homeland, but at closer sight, you'll see it is full of life. Vineyards, saffron plantations, olive trees, and cereals color the soil in a beautiful palette of purples, greens, and yellows. Sitting in the shade and letting you go, one can feel the adventure animus during those unprofitable nap hours that led Cervantes to write his arch-famous novel. After visiting one of the mills, we'll head to the 10th-century fortress of La Muela Castle in an unforgettable walk. Back in the town center, we'll step into a tavern to taste the local wine and some manchego cheese.
