She was knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring we still got a great experience even though the rain affected our visit to Girona. The Dali Museum was a highlight, Tate’s insights into Dali’s life and works were fascinating. One thing worth mentioning was the long drive. It was a bit much, especially with the rainy weather. The drive felt especially long on the way there, but the return journey seemed much better. If I could suggest one change, maybe doing Girona first to break up the travel time would make the experience feel less taxing. Tate also went above and beyond in helping with a personal situation, we had an issue with one lost luggage, which contained medication. She was incredibly helpful in translating at the pharmacy, ensuring we could get what was needed. That level of care was truly appreciated, despite the setback.

Overview of your Barcelona tour
A delicious itinerary to the north of Catalunya, by the border with France, that starts with a lovely driving up north to the city of Figueres where we will visit the Theatre-Museum of Salvador Dali, and walk in the narrow streets of the old town: The church where he was baptised, his favourite restaurants, his house. . . We will drive afterwards to the medieval capital of the area: Girona where we will stop for lunch in "Can Roca", the traditional & famous restaurant runned by the parents of the Roca brothers, owners of the neighbouring 3 michelin stars "Celler de Can Roca" restaurant. When it is closed, I have good alternatives (price not included). After lunch we visit in Girona the surprisingly well kept jewish district, the call, with its awesome museum, the Bonastruç Ça Porta centre, the Cathedral and church of Sant Feliu. We will discover all that during a relaxing drive with a chauffered mercedes class E (up to 2 pax) or a Viano Van (up to 6 pax).

She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work.We had a great time at the Dali museum and we elected to go to Dali house after instead of what was originally scheduled.Highly recommend her for any tour you are considering. Our driver was also excellent, felt safe and very comfortable.
Tate is an expert on Gaudi along with Picasso and Dali. This out of town trip was worth every bit of the time invested. Tate made it effortless and still extremely informative. We highly recommend this day trip to anybody interested in learning about the breath od Dali beyond his career as a painter. If you value expert knowledge on the artists and architects of Barcelona Tate will guide you in a personal manner that is easy going and geared to novice or expert alike.
