Hi I'm Francesc and I'm a fully liscensed tour guide, I'm not local from Barcelona but I was born not very far away. Came to the city to study in 2003 and stayed. I've seen the best and the worst from this city, and now, despite being determined many times to move, I cannot see myself living in a better place. I've been a tour guide since 2016, and I learned many things form this craft, the most important one: this is not about me showing you a new place. This is about you enjoying the experience. I like my tours to be educative and entertaining. I consider myself a knowledgeable, curious, and resourceful person. I would love to host you in Barcelona and show you everything this city has to offer. From the thousands of years of history, to the vibrant culture to the amazing gastronomical scene. And if you look for a more personalized experience, please get in contact.

Discover the soul of Barcelona in a four-hour experience. Walk with me through two thousand years of history — from Roman times, through the medieval golden age and Mediterranean dominion, to the cultural and economic boom of the 19th and 20th centuries. We'll explore history, architecture, and culture through facts and legends — a perfect way to see how, layer by layer, this city became the vibrant place it is today. We'll walk among Roman walls, medieval palaces, and churches; visit Spanish Civil War sites; discuss Catalan culture; and admire the city's modernist architecture. No tour is complete without the Sagrada Família. Though we'll only see it from outside, I'll show you the magnificence of the world's tallest church and the symbolism hidden in its façades. This tour is for anyone who wants to see Barcelona beyond the postcards: a city that preserves its ancient past while reinventing itself with boldness and creativity. Four hours, three worlds, one city that never stops impressing.
We'll begin in the Gothic Quarter with a stroll through the Roman and medieval city, taking in the Roman walls, the Cathedral, and the King's Palace. Next, in El Born, you'll see the everyday life of the working classes and the strong sense of identity that defines this city — including its favorite church, Santa Maria del Mar. By taxi, we'll continue to Passeig de Gràcia, where late-19th and early-20th-century bourgeois splendor lines this open-air gallery of Catalan modernism: Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and other lesser-known gems on this UNESCO-protected street. From there, another cab takes us to the Sagrada Família, where I'll help you appreciate the magnificence of Gaudí's masterpiece. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Wear comfortable shoes; most of the tour is on foot. Sun protection is recommended — I'll make sure you have cold water. Let me know of any accessibility needs in advance; the tour is fully adaptable. Ticketed entries to buildings aren't included, but can be arranged on request.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Most of the tour is on foot, but we'll take taxis to cover the longer stretches in between. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring sun protection, as it can get quite hot. I prefer to avoid the hottest hours for the walking portions, but my ideal starting time doesn't always match the customer's.
Plaça Nova, Barcelona, Spain
The ideal starting point for this tour is right in front of Barcelona Cathedral. It's accessible by car, and just a 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station. If you'd prefer to meet somewhere else, we can discuss it.
