AN ART HISTORIAN AND FULLY LICENSED LOCAL GUIDE !!! Enjoy Barcelona with a local, art historian, enthusiast, and in love with her city!! Hola, hello, my name is Gloria, Barcelona is my hometown, and I love touring my city. I like to combine both art and history with local customs and stories to bring my clients closer to the culture and local everyday life of Barcelona. My goal is to enrich your limited time in Barcelona with memorable experiences. After getting my degree, I passed the exam to become an official local tourist guide. I've been told that I am not only professional and knowledgeable but also WELCOMING and EMPATHIC, and now I invite you to find it out yourself !! What I like most are private tours for individuals, couples, families, and small groups (up to 8). I am very VERSATILE and ADAPTABLE to different interests and typologies and can customize any tour for you. You will enjoy an exclusive tour just for you, guided by a licensed official tourist guide, and skipping the lines, a priceless advantage !!! My wish is to make your experience in Barcelona unforgettable and be the perfect "cicerone. " I have a degree in History of Art (University of Barcelona). I am an Official Tourist Guide since 2009 and a member of APIT (Association of licensed Tourist Guides in Catalonia). I do not drive when touring but I can arrange for a separate car and driver if requested.

Gloria was punctual, warm, personable, & v knowledgable about Barcelona & Spain history & current events. She was particularly attentive to my elderly mother's slow pace. Her English was perfect. Wish we had had Gloria for subsequent tours in Spain, where many tour guides have strong, difficult to understand accents. The 4 hours were a perfect introduction. Would like to go back to Barcelona & take more specialized tours with Gloria. There were 4 of us, with a driver. Perfect combination.

OMG!! If I could give 10 stars I would! Gloria made our day in Barcelona the best ever, she was fun, smart, and engaging..she embraced all our curiosity about food, people, culture..she took us to all the highlights, the van was clean and air conditioned, she had waters for us..she was flexible if we wanted to stop and see something closer. She understood we didn't want to spend all day in basilicas and cathedrals - we went to market, ate oysters and cherries...we wanted her to stay with us!!!
