Montse, in addition to being knowledgeable about the places we visited and the things that happened (or are heppening) there, told great stories to help bring the places we visited to life. She was an outstanding representative for her community but also unafraid to tell historical truths where they needed to be told. Montse was an excellent guide! She showed us highlights of the old city, while reviewing the history of Barcelona. We then visited Park Guell and Segrada Familia, learning a lot about Gaudi along the way. Montse made it all fun and interesting. She also took us to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. Montse had great energy--would highly recommend her!

We absolutely loved our tour with Montse! She went out her way to get us sagrada tickets, meeting us the day prior to our scheduled tour. She explained the history of the areas visited well, and answered all of our questions. Montse also shared some of the fun legends about certain areas or “gifts”. We even got a glimpse at a super old / cute coffee shop where we tried chocolat & churros (10/10). We were given fantastic recommendations beyond the tour that we are excited to try! We loved our conversations with her outside of Catalan / Barcelona history. Fantastic guide, would absolutely book again!
Monster was a great guide with extensive knowledge of Barcelona. We were a very diverse family group, with different walking paces and interests, and she was able to tailor her tour to accommodate that. She made sure to engage our 11-year-old by asking him to find "hidden" items and getting his feedback. We were very pleased.
Fantastic tour all thanks to Montse. She is Professional, personable, positive and patient. All new tour guides should train with her. If they do they might one day become as excellent as her. We have had tours as good but none better.

We will need two taxi rides. Taxis are inexpensive in Barcelona compared to other cities. All taxis can be paid by credit card. I can arrange private transportation if you wish. Actually sometimes is much better because we take the most of our time.
