Hi, I'm Juan, born and lived in Barcelona since always! Currently working in tourism and doing what I like most, travelling! My other passions are cycling, nature and active trips around the world with my loved family and amazing friends. I've been travelling every year during holidays since I started to work 15 years ago. Full day trip visiting the most charismatic & important places of the city. Very dynamic tour since we spot one place and keep on going to the next. As a local, I will explain you all real tales of the city and all the history of this mediterranean jewel, you will quickly understand why is becoming so famous ;) Taking a look to the most famous Basilica in Europe, the Sagrada Familia is another thing, Gaudi architect was ahead of his time and we will talk about this. Visiting the old town it will surprise you in every corner, the Roman ruins are the pillars where the city was founded and the Gothic quarter has large history behing, we will fing about. A full experience of magic places that will stay in your memory and leave you amazing photos!

Had 13 tours booked with Tours by Local and this one by far outdid ALL the others. Best guide ever. Thoughtful, fun, has a chocolate addiction lol. Loved his personality and how he treated us more like family, showing us his hometown. You could feel his excitement and love for the city as he showed us everything. His knowledge was incredible and not boring at all. I didn’t want to leave his city or his friendship. It was an incredible day. You won’t go wrong with booking with Juan. Best guide I have found.
Barcelona is so interesting, and Juan made sure we experienced the marvelous Architecture, Ancient ruins (Gothic Center), a wonderful tapas lunch and beautiful scenery! He was very attentive to our slower pacing, and assisted one of us that relied on a cane to make access as easy as possible. Wonderful day! Wonderful memories! Thank you, Juan!

1. - MONTJUIC We will start driving to the top of the Barcelona's famous hill. Taking a look to the city, the harbour, the skyline and spoting all the iconic buildings. 2. - PASEO DE GRACIA Driving up and down along the greatest Street in town. We'll stop in some corners to take a close look to the Gaudi houses (La Pedrera and Casa Batllo) 3. - SAGRADA FAMILIA Drive to the Basilica, stop to take some pictures and know about Gaudi's constructions. 4. - OLYMPIC AREA Olympic área and the fisherman's village by the beach, called Barceloneta 5. - LUNCH - TAPAS Stop in a local Spanish restaurant. not fixed place, depends on your likes. 5. - CIUTAT VELLA Some walking around the indescribable quarter side to side. This is a short by amazing walk from Gothic streets to Las Ramblas.
