Gdańsk and Malbork Castle in One Day — Medieval Heritage Express (UNESCO)

If you’re visiting Gdańsk for a short stay and want to see both the city and something truly unique in the region, this is the tour I usually recommend. It’s a full day, but very rewarding — you’ll experience the highlights of Gdańsk and the most impressive medieval site in Poland in one trip. We’ll start with a drive to Malbork, about an hour from the city. The castle is the largest brick fortress in the world and a UNESCO site. You’ll explore it with an audio guide at a comfortable pace, avoiding large groups. After returning to Gdańsk, we’ll walk through the Main Town along the Royal Route, past the Golden Gate, Neptune’s Fountain, the Town Hall, and the old harbor with the medieval Crane. I’ll also show you Mariacka Street — my favorite spot in the city, famous for its amber shops and unique atmosphere. The day is quite full, but carefully planned so you can see as much as possible and still return on time.
