Hello, my name is Izabella. I am a professional guide in Gdańsk - Sopot - Gdynia (Tri-city), Pomerania Province, the Malbork Castle, Gdansk Museums, Stutthof Concentration Camp. Since 1997 I have been working as a tour leader. I have led Polish groups in Asian and north African countries. I have learned about history, traditions, religions and cultures of those countries. In 2008 I passed exams and was given a certified licence as a city guide in Gdańsk - Sopot - Gdynia (Tri-city). Since then I have specialized in Tri- city and Pomerania Province. I did my post-gradutate studies of Gdańsk History at the University of Gdańsk. My licences, certificates, and diplomas allow me to guide groups inside different institutions, buildings and museums. Gdańsk is a very unique city, full of history, culture and a unique atmosphere. Bustling economy and new investments encourage people to visit it. The city is located along the Gdańsk Bay together with Sopot and Gdynia and has a special microclimate created by the surrounding forest and moraine hills. The Tri-city beaches are one of the few places in the world where you can find amber after storm. The only true guide is the heart, therefore I will be your passionate tour guide in Gdańsk. My flat looks like a well -stocked library. I read a lot of books. I love cycling, and diving in the Baltic Sea exploring shipwrecks, or sailing on the Gdańsk Bay with friends. In winter time I go skiing or I lead groups in other countries. I am a sociable, spontaneous, cheerful, and flexible person. I adapt to the groups' expectations. I like to work both with children and adults, with groups and individual tourists. I always come prepared and my goal is to meet the expectations of my clients. Thanks to many trips abroad and knowledge of many cultures I am an open person and tolerant to all religions and races. - Licensed tour guide in Tri-City (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia) - Licensed tour guide in Pomerania (Pomorze, Pomeranian Voivodeship) - Licensed tour guide in European Solidarity Centre - Licensed tour guide in Emmigration Museum in Gdynia - Licensed tour guide in Malbork Castle - Licensed tour guide in Stutthof Concentration Camp - Licensed tour guide in Warminsko - Mazurskie (Elblag Canal, Frombork, Wolf's Lair, Olsztyn Castle, Mazuria Lakes) - Licensed tour guide in the Gdansk Museum (Main City Hall, Artus Court, Polish Post Office, Amber Museum, Uphagen House, Westerplatte outpost nr 1) - Licensed tour guide in the Second World War Museum in Gdansk.

What my travellers enjoy most about this tour is unique walking route covers the history of merchant and port city of Gdańsk. From the Middle Ages with historic churches (like St. Mary, St. Catharina) and 17 c. rebuilt and renovated tenement houses along St. Marry Street and Holy Spirit Street. The wealth of Gdańsk is still shown today in its architecture with the Netherlands influence. There are interesting secular buildings such as: The Main City Hall and the Artus Court; gothic red-brick churches and their medieval ornaments: sculpture and paintings; narrow, decorated tenement houses with porches. The next issue is the Polish way to democracy with Round Table Talks in 1989 which ended communism. An unforgettable attraction in Gdansk district Oliwa is 18 c. organ music concert in the Cathedral church.
An interesting tour with a great guide!
Our favorite tour and guide during our Baltic Sea cruise! Izabella is engaging, kind and accommodated our needs. Full day but comfortable, relaxed pace. With private vehicle we were able to see so much more during our port stop. Izabella is well travelled herself. She shared personal experiences from the Communist occupation, with an excellent tour of the Solidarity Museum. Izabella, Thank you!
We had *such a lovely day* with Izabella. We didn't have a lot of time (and my partner has zero attention span). She worked with me (in advance) to figure out what was manageable for our time, and what would have been too much. She crafted a whirlwind tour of Gdansk that somehow didn't feel rushed. Saw a lot, and would happily go back for more. Izabella is charming, accommodating, thoughtful, and full of information. Absolutely recommend!
I had the absolute pleasure of being shown around Gdansk by Izabella. She is enthusiastic, fun, very knowledgable, every question I asked of which there were a lot she could answer. She made the trip as a solo traveller an absolute joy. We saw the Solidarity museum, Oliwa Cathedral and most sights in central Gdansk. She also provided excellent tips for other things to do on my trip and good restaurants. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Izabella for your tour in Gdansk and the tri cities
Izabella was outstanding. On time. Completely fluent. Brought us to places we would not normally go along with the standard places. Funny. Travelled huge amount all over the world. Worked up a schedule for us for our other days when she was already booked. A real gem.
