Hello, my name is Izabella. I am a professional guide in Gdańsk - Sopot - Gdynia (Tri-city), Pomerania Province, the Malbork Castle, Gdansk Museums, Stutthof Concentration Camp. Since 1997 I have been working as a tour leader. I have led Polish groups in Asian and north African countries. I have learned about history, traditions, religions and cultures of those countries. In 2008 I passed exams and was given a certified licence as a city guide in Gdańsk - Sopot - Gdynia (Tri-city). Since then I have specialized in Tri- city and Pomerania Province. I did my post-gradutate studies of Gdańsk History at the University of Gdańsk. My licences, certificates, and diplomas allow me to guide groups inside different institutions, buildings and museums. Gdańsk is a very unique city, full of history, culture and a unique atmosphere. Bustling economy and new investments encourage people to visit it. The city is located along the Gdańsk Bay together with Sopot and Gdynia and has a special microclimate created by the surrounding forest and moraine hills. The Tri-city beaches are one of the few places in the world where you can find amber after storm. The only true guide is the heart, therefore I will be your passionate tour guide in Gdańsk. My flat looks like a well -stocked library. I read a lot of books. I love cycling, and diving in the Baltic Sea exploring shipwrecks, or sailing on the Gdańsk Bay with friends. In winter time I go skiing or I lead groups in other countries. I am a sociable, spontaneous, cheerful, and flexible person. I adapt to the groups' expectations. I like to work both with children and adults, with groups and individual tourists. I always come prepared and my goal is to meet the expectations of my clients. Thanks to many trips abroad and knowledge of many cultures I am an open person and tolerant to all religions and races. - Licensed tour guide in Tri-City (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia) - Licensed tour guide in Pomerania (Pomorze, Pomeranian Voivodeship) - Licensed tour guide in European Solidarity Centre - Licensed tour guide in Emmigration Museum in Gdynia - Licensed tour guide in Malbork Castle - Licensed tour guide in Stutthof Concentration Camp - Licensed tour guide in Warminsko - Mazurskie (Elblag Canal, Frombork, Wolf's Lair, Olsztyn Castle, Mazuria Lakes) - Licensed tour guide in the Gdansk Museum (Main City Hall, Artus Court, Polish Post Office, Amber Museum, Uphagen House, Westerplatte outpost nr 1) - Licensed tour guide in the Second World War Museum in Gdansk.

a meaningful and memorable day exploring both the beauty and the complex history of Gdańsk. We’ll begin our tour in the heart of the Old Town (Main Town), where you’ll experience the city's rich architectural and cultural heritage. Highlights of our walking tour include: The Great Crane, Granary Island, St. Mary’s Church, Neptune Fountain & Artus Court – symbols of Gdańsk’s Hanseatic past, The City Hall & Long Street (Długi Targ), The Great Armoury. After our stroll through the Old Town, we’ll depart by private vehicle and head east through the scenic Żuławy Lowlands, a region of reclaimed land, historic farms, and canals. Our destination is the Stutthof Museum, the site of the first Nazi concentration camp established outside of Germany at the start of WWII. Located in a remote forest near the Baltic Sea, the camp operated from 1939 to 1945. Today, the museum preserves the memory of the tens of thousands of victims and offers a powerful, educational experience.
