Hi, my name is Kasia. I have 17 years of guiding experience and I am really lucky because guiding is my work and passion at the same time. Expanding my knowledge, meeting people from all over the world and sharing my love to the place is like amazing journey. I was born, grew up and live in The City of Freedom. It was in Gdansk where in 1980, after 18 days of strike, Solidarity was established, which was the first blow of uncertainty for the communist regimes. My home is a walking distance from the biggest Polish river Vistula. During the morning strolls, on one hand as a passionate photographer and person whose childhood was stunk in the atmosphere of port and shipyard, I take hundreds of pictures of the ships coming to Gdansk. On the other, I can watch seagulls flying over Westerplatte peninsula, a strip of land where on the 1st of September 1939 the Schleswig - Holstein's cannon - shots meant the outbreak of the hell on Earth that the WWII was. My personality traits of Slavic woman, reliability, hospitality, sensitivity and open mindedness which stem from my family background, the heritage of Polish originating from the Lviv area (since 1945 in Ukraine), together with my artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, diversity of my work (I am a licensed tour guide, qualified teacher of English, cooperate with different cultural institutions in Gdansk) and my enthusiasm about the area are the factors making my guiding professional and colourful at the same time. The ancient history of The World Capital of Amber that Gdansk is; the turning point in 1980 when the revolutionary movement was established; the vicinity of the summer resort The Pearl of Baltic Sea - Sopot; the sophisticated example of the 1920-ties and 30-ties modernism architecture city - Gdynia give you the chance to experience an unforgettable, unique visit. Watching the marvelous view from one of the view points and delicious meal in one of local restaurants can be the final touch. If you want to familiarize not only with the landmarks of Tricity - Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia, we can visit off the beaten path places or drive to outside the city destinations. I am a licensed tour guide in the Tricity and Pomeranian District (Voivoidship). The visit to Stutthoff Concentration Camp, Hel Peninsula, Kashuby, kayaking tours and many others can be the part of our meeting as well. I use both public and private transport. My tours are flexible and I am happy to customize. I am very much looking forward to meeting you. - Licensed tour guide in Tri-City (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia) - Licensed tour guide in Pomerania (Pomorze, Pomeranian Voivodeship) - Licensed tour guide in European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk - Licensed tour guide in Emmigration Museum in Gdynia - Licensed tour guide in Stutthof Concentration Camp Museum - Licensed tour guide in World War II Museum in Gdansk - List of about 90 countries whose nationals may enter Poland without a visa are published on the page of the ministry of foreign affairs www.msz.gov.pl - Bank holidays when the museums are closed https://www.officeholidays.com/countries/poland/index.php

Overview of your Gdansk tour

During this tour you will have the overview of the whole Tricity - Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. I will pick you up in the place where we agree on and show the three cities in all their glory. . . . It is the mixture of ancient places like Gdansk Old Town (Main Town) and Oliwa cathedral with the summer resort and beautiful sandy beach in The Pearl of Baltic - Sopot and The White City Gdynia. I will customize the tour on your request. *Do note that many museums close by 4:00pm, so access to some sites may depend on our starting time for the tour. *

Kasia is a very knowledgeable guide with a great personality. We had taken a tour with her 7 years ago and enjoyed it so much we booked another. She rented a van (making it more comfortable easier for 4 of us) and her husband was our driver. She personalized the tour based on my requests. We communicated first through GYG and then through WhatsApplIf you are goin to Gdansk, I highly recommend you book a tour with Kasia.

Kasia provided a phenomenal tour of Gdansk and Sopot for our family group of 16. Her knowledge of the city, personalization, friendliness and adaptability were unmatched. Kasia has lived the history of the country and was able to provide us with a unique and emotional tour of the Solidarity museum. We wished that we had double the time to spend with her!

Kasia was absolutely lovely and had all the qualities of a good guide. She was knowledgeable and able to communicate that knowledge in a clear and interesting manner. And she certainly knew the best place to eat authentic Polish food. We had a great tour!

Kasia gave us a great full Day tour of Gdynia, Sopot, and Gdańsk. She is quite experienced and knowledgable about the area. She was flexible enough to be able to adapt the tour to our interests. I highly recommend Kasia as a guide for the Tri-City area.

Your Gdansk tour itinerary

Drive across Gdynia, passing by gorgeous examples of modernistic architecture from 1920-ties and 30-ties; short walk in the port with the historical ships serving as museums today. Optionally an amazing view of port in Gdynia from 'Kamienna Góra". In Sopot on one hand walk, in the summer resort filled with picturesque buildings from the turn of 20th century. On the other, feeling the Baltic breeze on the wonderful sandy beach and the longest wooden pier in Europe. In Oliwa, today district of Gdansk, time to relax as for 20 minutes you will be veiled with 18th century organ's music in former cistercian church. During the drive to Old Gdansk among others we will pass by the place where the first leader of Solidarity, Lech Walesa, lives. In Old (Main) Town: Great Crane, old port, Saint Mary's street, Saint Mary's church, Great Armoury, Golden Gate, Torture House, Long Street, Neptune Fountain, the City Hall, Artus Court, some hidden Gems. I invite you for my tours. I am flexible and can customize the tour.
