Overview of your Gdansk tour
To make the walk along the oldest part of Gdańsk I suggest 3 hours tour (No. #104405) but sometimes the travelers are looking for a panorama tour only. This tour allows you to receive basic information about the main part of Gdansk and choose the places you would like to see later. On the Royal Way, you will see the rebuilt houses that belonged in the past to rich patrician families of Uphagen, Ferber, Schwarzwald, Main Town Hall, Artus Court, houses rented by kings visited the town, Neptune Fountain. We will cross Mariacka Gate to see beautiful Mariacka Street with fore-terraces and many shops with amber. On the way, we will pass St. Mary's church the biggest Gothic church in the world made of bricks. On the bank of Motlawa River, we will set eyes on the unique Old Crane who worked many ages in the harbor. We will not miss the Great Armoury, a place where guns, balls were stored in the past with a façade designed by a Dutch architect. After the tour, we can stop on Piwna Street for pierogi or local beer
Your Gdansk tour itinerary
You will see from outside the main objects in the Old Gdansk: - the Upland Gate, - Golden Gate, - Coal Market, - Długa Street, - Uphagen House, - Main Town Hall, - Neptune Fountain, - Artus Court, - Mariacka Street, - St. Mary's Church, - Old Crane, - Great Armoury. To make this walk to see the mentioned objects we need 2 hours. If you have any difficulties or wish we can make short stops during the walk on the available benches or in cafes. The itinerary can be modified and prolongated according to your request and according to your interests and visit in Gdansk Museum, WWII Museum, European Solidarity Center, Gdansk Shipyad, Hevelianum Center can be added. Please do not hesitate to ask me for a customized offer. Please note that museums are closed on Monday and either Main Town Hall or other objects like Oliwa Cathedral adn St. Mary's Church can be closed due to official meetings or special Massess. In such case, the entrance to some other museum or object will be suggested and mutually agreed.
