Hello travelers! Like you, for many years I have traveled the world in various ways. During my trips, I always tried to guide the vision of conscious traveling. Establish contacts with local guides and support local communities. That's why I would like to introduce you to my little world in which I grew up. One of the guiding thoughts that guide me when I travel is the passion for what I do. I link a few passions: to travel, history and active leisure. For three years I have been running local tours of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia and the surrounding area. Together with a group of friends, we have created an initiative associating local guides Poland By Locals. We go beyond the usual routes and we create new travel experiences. In addition to active forms of sightseeing, like cycling and canoeing. I run theme tours related to Gdańsk brewing and Polish cuisine. I also specialize in the history of the Second World War and the communist era in Poland. I also conduct trips to the Malbork Castle and beautiful areas of Kashubia. I show my guest both well-known corners of the city as well as those outside the beaten trails. I present how the life of local communities looks like, I talk about our traditions, lifestyle and show places that you can not always reach by yourself. I will always be happy to help you create a personalized trip around Poland and our region. Overview of your Gdansk tour

Gdansk is an amazing city with over 1000 years of history. It is said that Gdansk is a city where everything begins. World War II began here and the fall of communism in Eastern Europe began here. My city is also a place where cultures meet, between the East and the West. All this makes it impossible to get bored in Gdansk. Each district has its own unique character and is worth visiting. During the trip, we will discover the beauty of Gdansk and see my favorite local places. A local adventure awaits you!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Five stars simply doesn't do Sebastian justice! If you're visiting Gdańsk, stop searching and book Sebastian — full stop. From the moment our tour began, it was clear we were in the hands of someone who truly loves what he does. His knowledge of Gdańsk's history is extraordinary, and the way he brought it to life made every cobblestone and cathedral feel like part of a living story rather than a history lesson. Sebastian was endlessly patient, accommodating every question and never once making anyone feel rushed. He tailored the experience to our group, went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable, and consistently went above and beyond what we ever could have expected from a guide. Thanks to him, our trip to Gdańsk wasn't just enjoyable — it was genuinely unforgettable. I would recommend Sebastian without a second thought to anyone, whether it's your first visit or your fifth. A truly exceptional guide and a wonderful person.

The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sebastian. One member of our party has mobility issues, and Sebastian saw to his needs the entire tour. He altered the itinerary as we went without omitting the information he wanted to share with us about Gdansk's history and current affairs. Gdansk is fascinating, and Sebastian was passionate and caring about what he explained and showed to us. The tour was a great experience, and we highly recommend Sebastian as your tour guide.

This was the second tour that I booked during my stay in Gdansk and it was even better than the first. Sebastian expertly presented the living Gdansk through its history, culture, atmosphere, food, people, and locations. Every aspect was simply the BEST. This was an ELEVEN STAR tour. Thank you, Sebastian Serdeczne Dziekuje. Christopher Haponik

I recently had a pleasure of taking a tour with Sebastian and it was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish his deep knowledge of the Gdansk history and culture made the experience truly memorable. What stood out most was how personable and engaging Sebastian was and made everyone welcome and was able to tailor the tour to our needs and interests. If you are looking for a guide who is able to combine expertise with warmth and adaptability Sebastian is your guide. We had a group of six people and all of us loved this tour.

Sebastian was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the history of this fascinating region. He explained this through his family's own stories and helped us understand a Polish perspective. He adapted our schedule due to traffic and timing to fit as many interesting sites as we could given our cruise schedule. He was very good at speaking loudly & clearly so all six of us in the van could hear him. Most importantly, he made our tour personal enough to allow us time to try everything on our list of Polish foods. Our family has always enjoyed connecting with guides from Tours by Locals and he was outstanding!

We had a lovely day with Sebastian. He arrived on time and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. We are a group with a few who have difficulty walking over cobblestones and for long distances. Sebastian was very patient with us when we took much longer than most to walk around town. He was full of interesting information and adapted easily to changes we needed to make. I would highly recommend Sebastian if you are visiting Gdansk.

Your Gdansk tour itinerary

Main Town - the most beautiful district of Gdansk with famous monuments such as the Main City Hall, Royal Route, Artus Court, Neptune's Fountain, St. Mary's Basilica The Old Port - the place where the majestic Gdansk Crane stands. Amber Stone - we also cannot skip the topic of amber, so I will take you to an extraordinary place where we will learn the history of the Baltic Gold. One of my favorite places is the church of St. Bridget. This place is full of history, but we can also admire a unique amber altar here. You'll definitely like it :) Then it's time for the great history of Solidarity, the largest social movement in the history of the world. We visit Gdansk Shipyard. Finally, we will visit Westerplatte, the place where World War II began, and where we will meet the story of the Free City of Gdansk and the biggest conflict in the history of the world.
